How so? RC Rekkas? I’d like to know, since my N-Iori usually dies before it gets to my opponent’s R2 C-Guile.

to epsilon: how does n iori own c guile? my guess would be the run and roll tactic to get in but even then you’d just have to be a little more careful with sonic boom. and i don’t know but wouldn’t lp sonic boom catch him if he doesn’t come up behind guile? it does seems like an annoying match up for guile because you can’t abuse his sonic boom, but i don’t think it would be a real threat. i’ve never played a nasty n iori though so i could be wrong.
Iori can RC rekka all day and Guile pretty much cant do crap about it. If he rolls, Iori can punish him, and he has to have near perfect timing to punish rekkas with a straight up jump. If Guile has a hole in any of his block strings Iori can keep on rekkaing. Guile cant punish Iori well at all w/o super etc. Rekkas are just really good against him. Iori can also counter roll on block strings that end with low strong, Sonic Boom for a free combo.
any one else here experience this iori/guile phenomenon? i’m so used to catching people with sonic boom.
If Iori can RC Rekka all day why can’t Guile RC sonic boom as well? Guile can punish a Rekka with a running mk if Guile’s N-Groove as well.
and then… u have one mk in and prolly 4 other times iori has his full rekkas in… i think even an R3 guile cant take so many hits…
Note I said C Guile, and 2 even if Guile RC Sonic Booms, Iori can either A finish the Rekkas or B mash on throw or hidden option #3: jump.
i’d have to see it to believe it. rc sonic boom is the worst. for something to out right own it would be sweet.
C-Guile, K-Ryo, or S-Terry. All too much fun.
I would have to say either K-Blanka or C-Ken.
Hmm I dunno. N iori beats guile. NOBODY OWNS GUILE. heh. I dont think guile has any matches worse than 7-3, 8-2 is required to use the word OWNS in my book.
Yeah the match is 7-3 8-2 is more OWNS than owns.
k blanka vs c guile = bad match up for guile. lowjump over block strings.
In this case, I would mainly use A-Terry.
