Not a VG company, but instead a development team: I’d love to see Retro Studios partner up with Valve. Retro really made some great achievements with the first-person viewpoint, and Valve is one of the few large companies that I could see supporting whatever new vision they come up with. Also, it’d be an opportunity to see a new ip from Retro instead of just another Nintendo property (Although they’ve done a great job with Nintendo properties so far).
Unfortunately, Retro is pretty much a Nintendo studio, so this pairing will probably never happen in a million years.
square needs to merge with soft again.

Fucking this. Squaresoft was the shit. Square Enix is a fucking piece of shit. They where rad when they where Squaresoft.
You know while normally people lament the fall of Squaresoft, let us not forget that Enix was putting out fucking epic RPGs as well. So while it was bad to lose Squaresoft, it was just as bad to lose Enix.
