Did FA -> Dash get nerfed in the last patch? The disadvantage on block seems a lot worse now. When I try to throw it seems to whiff often too. Meh, IDK. o_O

Is this combo any good: s.MP, s.LK MK chain xx ender/loop?

According to eventhubs, FA1 blocked is -2 and FA2 blocked is +4. So if you ever FA1, itā€™s preferable that you backdash, or at least backdash after you dash in.

That combo is fine, but doesnā€™t st.LP have as much range as st.LK?

Yeah s.lp has nearly the same range and its plus 8 on hit. So landing s.mk afterwards is hella easy. Only 2 characters s.lp doesnā€™t work on is vega and blanka which you can substitute with s.mp to s.mk.

hmm thats good to know. Iā€™ve been whiffing st.mk all this time for nothing. Iā€™ve seen lots of Ibuki use it as a poke for tsumuji but your better off using it after s.lp if its about the same range.

I wonder how many of the people here are pad ibuki?

Also anyone got any advice how to train myself from pad to stick? I just made the leap and itā€™s frustrating as hell when I canā€™t even get a clp clp slp smk tsumuji down consistantly

Well I play pad so I cant exactly give any advice except go to training. Tho I would say stick with it and dont go back

I play pad too. PS3 DS3.

For lvl 1 FA on block, would backdashing after you dash in give you enough frames to save you from a reversal? After mk. Tsumuji (2 hits) on block i usually followup with lvl 1 focus attack. gets me a lot of counterhits.

Backdash gives you a few invincibility frames, so it should be safe from everything except reversal grapplerā€™s throw like SPD.

Wouldnt the dash in lose a few frames as well. Or are you at -2 after dashin in?

-2 after dash in.

Iā€™m sorry if this has been asked before but, after her BnBs(ex. cr.lp, cr.lp, st.lp, st.mk > ender) why would you end with raida? I know Kazegiri does most damage as an ender and Neckbreaker nets you an untech knockdown but, what benefits does Raida have?

^ Cool points! Stun! Corner push! Iā€™m a padalog user.

Mostly just cool points. Neckbreaker does more damage and the same stun and sets you up for the vortex.

I need to upload my ibuki soon.

I can tell you that my offense is really good but my defense is just bah.

i use a pad ibuki and got up to B rank and 5000bp.
(i kno that means nothing im not bragging) just saying you can get good with her it just takes practice. i still cant do the tough links but i dont see the pad hindering me

Well thats interestingā€¦ I thought most people here would of been a stick ibuki. What do you guys use your meter for? I tend to only use it for double daggers but Iā€™m sure there has to be better use for it.

My pad ibuki got up to 3000 then i switched to stick and now iā€™m down to like 2700 and a whooping 300 pp!!!

Usually I save my meter for super and catch people with random hiens to super in the middle of combos and block strings. If my opponent is in the corner, or at least close to it, I always combo into EX tsumuji followed by hk.kazegiri; very damaging combo. Very rarely I would use EX kazegiri for mixups or defense, probably a bad habit. Sometimes I use EX kunais, but usually only for end of round, chip damage.

Hey iā€™m a stick playerā€¦ my points suck thoughā€¦ 5000BP and like 1800PP suckyā€¦ but hey iā€™m trying itā€™s hard trying to pull off stuff precisely with all the shortcuts to be honest
