I want to learn Charlie

Just watch this [media=youtube]PZR-ZPcFPg0"[/media]. The first combo will answer your question. This is Charlie’s best combo in terms of hit-confirmability, damage and utility-namely as a cross-up.

Well, many will swear by V-ism, like most will for most chars in Alpha 3 (for good reason)

But A-ism has too many advantages for me to ignore, the dash is HUGE, its takes some practice, but dash–to (begin charge here) cr.sp, cr.lp, cr.lp, (D/F for super begins here) cr.lk—(negetive edge FTW) somersault justice is a thing of beauty.

V-ISM is the best one without a doubt:
Most characters’ abilities can be exploited to their furthest and can climb up the “tier mountain”, for example Dan, Cammy clones or any other character with bad Supers. There are exceptations, though, who are better off with A-ISM.

Charlie is, of course, better prepared for a match if used in V-ISM but his Supers are very good, especially his Crossfire Blitz. It allows him, at least in the corner, to finish his attack strings with an additional Flash Kick combo-and I’m talking about the level 3 version, so you can probably think of the damage this combo does.

Man, I’m just using a stick for the very first time and it’s so hard to do his somersault justice. I can do it fine on a d-pad, but on stick it’s weird. Any tips?

db, rotate to d/f, then rotate to u/b (tiger knee motion) into super.

a-charlie is fun. being able to do his backfist (hp) and step kick (hk) without losing your charge is nice.
