hmmm, tempting indeed
Well if you do have Blaze Blue and SFIV and can hold out, I’m sure KOF XII is gonna drop in price pretty quickly, as much as I enjoy the game I don’t think it’s worth $60+ dollars I paid for it.
But yes to answer your question this game plays absolutely nothing like the other KOF’s games. It plays more like a 4 button capcom game, maybe Capcom vs SNK 1?
Its the first KoF game for me, and I’m loving it so far. Its the most responsive and smoothest controlling fighter I’ve played (offline that is). Every hit really feels like its connecting.
lol. i actually got waku waku 7 on an emulator. i would totally download that for PSN. i don’t understand why game companies don’t do more of that. if Mortal Kombat II is any indication, people are willing to shell out money for re-releases of the oldies-but-goodies.
I’ve seen videos where players are so good at Sousai’s, it’s crazy…
It’s like a Focus attack parry if you get it right. :wow:
Seriously. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the fighting system. I very much enjoy it actually. However there’s one critical (lol) flaw in this game. As of now the lag is really bad. Anything short of full bars is just atrocious. SNK has announced they are working on a patch to fix it but for now it’s still terrible. Furthermore, the single player is probably the worst I’ve seen in a fighting game so far. Arcade mode is a joke and I can safely say I’ve not seen an arcade mode so terrible in any other fighting game ever (spoiler I guess? There no infamous SNK boss battle at the end). So basically you have a game that’s obviously centered around online play, but so far executes it very poorly. Before this patch is released I have no reason to play this game, just because, literally, there is nothing for me to play.
Hate most KOF and love this one.
