The VCC and GND labels on the KNsert v1.4 are misprinted.
They are switched around.
Did you take that into account?
SIGH NO I DIDNT… are you sure they are misprinted? The ones i have are definatly 1.4.
Fine, don’t listen to me.
You keep doing all capital letters.
Someone else will help you.
He’s sure. I haven’t looked it up to corroborate (though I do remember reading something like that), but if jdm said it then you can trust his word; he’s knowledgeable about these things.
Please excuse his sarcasm, he has very sensitive internet ears (like many of us do), and all your shouting is getting people a little frustrated. TT tries to keep a relatively civil/calm/collected/positive demeanor to keep communications clear so that we may better impart information; expressing frustration like that only deters people from providing you with the help you need, and sours peoples’ moods in the process.
Word thanx underwing and jdm, this is basically the longest ive ever paid attention to a forum post so i have bad manners, im sorry and am thank you with all my heart at your guys help.
Now that things are a bit more pleasant, is there anything I can do to help?
JDM is of course correct; the KNserts’ labels for VCC and GND are backwards. All bags of them from here on out will have a warning sticker on them about this, and the mouseover for the KNsert photos on my site also mention this. Im sorry if you ordered before I started putting the warning labels on them (2 weeks ago? I dont recall.); it can be difficult for me to separate what’s known by the hive mind here in TT versus what a normal person would know.
Got it working perfectly, i would like everyone that helped me, once again sorry for being a pain. Honestly after reading this whole post i see why jdm was frustrated.
Glad to hear it. Make sure to read over the sheet that came with the board; there’s a lot of cool functionality in that little board, and it sucks when you want to show it off but forget how to turn off the tournament mode. That happened to me at Evo when I was first showing the board off.
