I don’t think so yet, hopefully capcom post it yet cause watching his announcement trailer simply for his theme isn’t very practical.
And as an aside for future reference, I think this thread title would suit the team building thread better and maybe go for “worlds greatest marksman at your service” for this thread. Just a thought(since we have nothing else to talk about)

Yeah, though at least Ultimate Spidey stayed good and even the Death story was good(Fyi, it wasn’t just the bullet that killed him and Spidey isn’t invulnerable anyway).
The original 2 Ultimates books were great and Millar’s Ultimate Avengers were awesome.
Hickman’s new Ultimates and the Ultimate Hawkeye book are looking good too. And Ult Hawk is a badass.
Back on topic, i hope we get a Defenders reference if we have Strange,Hulk and Hawkeye together.
Ultimates was bad the minute wolverine was cable. And it got worse the minute they made Colossus a bitch that is only as strong as he is cause he takes drugs. Heaven forbid there be a strong gay character in comics/games that doesn’t fit some terrible stereotype of abusing drugs/feminine/has aids.

Can poison kill the opponent, or does it just bring him down to 1 HP?

. Hawkeye looks awesome so far great assists, and mix ups. cant wait to use him.
Sorry for the dumb question, but is there still a chance that Hawkeye has more moves than listed above and can be added in a later build? I’m sorry to say that I’m ignorant to what kind of arrows he has in the comic books.
we haven’t seen all of his arrow moves, he apparently has 16+ types of arrows and we don’t know of all of them.
Thank you. Talking to some dude who doesn’t believe that he might have 16 shots. After playing with someone like Dante, you would think that someone else is capable of pulling off over 15 moves.
Anyways, is it safe to say that poisoning the point character, then snap out another character will be a good strategy?
Well its easily possible, 4 inputs :qcf: :qcb: :dp: reverse :dp:) with each face button will easily give him 16 arrows, but I think capcom is going the dante route and giving him some command normal arrows as well. Im just anxious to hear the functions each arrow has, I am hoping most of them will have uses outside of just doing damage(ala the poison arrow).
Finally for your other question, it might be a good strategy but we just don’t know enough about the poison arrow yet, we don’t know how the poison affects an assist character, plus we don’t know if it clears while the assist character is off screen because status effects, both positive and negative don’t clear while a character is not on point like joes slow and devil trigger.
i wouldn’t assume he has 16 trick shots, but rather 16 different arrow types, including quick shot and hypers and the like

Good to know, heres hoping gamespot do a video for the original 4 like they did for nem and strange, id like to have seth walk us through all his arrows and touch on a few of the less obvious effects.
So from the vid on the front page, it looks like each time the opponent gets hit with poison it does more than the previous time. Did I see right?

Im just glad to see some footage coming outta gamescom and seeing someone actually sit down with hawkeye to test him out, Im hoping they tried out a couple of his other arrows cause other than the poison and a few here and there I can’t really tell you what most of his arrows do.
Well since no one is posting on this thread i just wanted to put my 2 Cents in this. I think Hawkeye will be the deadliest character in UMVC3 with meter. As long as he super jumps, he can use a golden arrow super to punish nearly anything, and this super tracks wherever you go in front of him. Put in so Xfactor chip, and you have the easies guarnteed chip in the game. Also his level 3 OTG’s without using a trick arrow or assist. Thats pretty scary, BNB series Xfactor into level 3 after launch down from air series. But one thing i think hawkeye will need is a diagonal assist that shoots towards the air, because it doesnt look like any of his shots can shoot diagonal up or diagonal down from his normal jumps from what ive seen.This may be how they are balancing him out, but expect to see intimidating character come november if he stays this good.
I agree for the most part, but he’s probably gonna have some trouble matchups with people who get in for free. He doesn’t seem that good up close, but we’ll see soon enough.
i did play him a bit @ the ny fight club. hawkeye is fuckin quick and the cancels on his trick shot r almost immediate. i thought i was doin the wrong command for the roll but i was cancellin it so early the animation never started, useing ammy assist i was doing some sick mix ups. also his golden arrow hyper has some fucking crazy tracking. after dhcin after spideys MS hawkeye jumped in front of where my opponent landed and pointed his bow in the wrong direction of my opponent. he fired his shot and still hit the damn guy, every one was like wtf. the only downside to him is that his normals are kinda slow oh and having arrows for normals get some gettin use to.
Idk, i kinda like the normals hes shown, we just havent really played with him, who knows, he might be like chris, with some somewhat slow but not to bad normals XD
I wouldn’t be surprised or disappointed if his normals turn out to be ass, he seems to be built completely for full screen combat, although knowing this game you never really know how a character is gonna turn out. The fact that some of his “normals” are arrow shots is very exciting and should make for some sick full screen pressure paired with the right assist.
