When they rebranded Cable as Soldier-X, it was good for a few issues, but then just went back to same old badly written Cable stories.
X-Man was a much better version of Cable.

wtf? i never thought that but then again the emphasis thus far has been on deadpool rather on not as much on cable. btw the comic itself is up to number 46 as I have all of them byt number 1 sadly as I still cant get a hold of it locally rather than ebay. as far as tpb are concerned, thus far i think there’s been four iirc i forget as I only have the first one. additionally, looks like deadpool already has his own series from the last one i got was summer special of some sort i forget the name of the one i own but, the front cover is of him (deadpool) @ the beach. thought i’d let you guys know if you haven’t already
Although they said they’re canning C&D for a solo Cable stories, doesn’t mean Deadpool is done. I’m hoping they’ll make Deadpool & Agent X. And they better keep Bob. Hail Hydra!
from what i understand i think there are at least more than 30 or so. But wow at least it lasted for about 2 years or so.
There are 42 issues, and 7 TPBs. I picked up the 7th TPB the other night. Deadpool is even more hilarious in the last few issues, but they didn’t end in a way I liked. The last couple issues ended with “Continued in X-Men such and such” a comic that I now have to go get in order to know what happens. I didn’t like that since the rest of C&D was rather self contained, even the civil war parts could have stood alone.
Deadpool with Agent X’s team is too good, and I hope that they continue their story. Cable is getting his own series again, so give Deadpool some more love.
