I would sell those games for weed money, but that’s me.
I hope its about something nobody covered
NO ITS NOT NORMAL
For still wanting to play Halolollercoasters 3, son, you got like, ASS BONE CANCER
My backlog is ps2, ps3(mostly digital, almost done with my physical collection, gamecube(small), wii(small) wii u(small), n64(3 games) ds(uhh like 4 games), and some gba titles. I can get through it, just i find it alot easier to turn on the ps3 and pass time playing Bayonetta, Crazy Taxi or Space Channel 5 part 2.
Plus most of my backlog are rpgs and some horror, and for horror i gotta be in the mood, and rpgs are long, so sometimes i don’t feel like it It just depends, but im working on it though. I would say stop looking online, and stop going to gamestop. Because that’s what was causing me to buy hella shit.
If you really wanna buy i would only suggest buying shit that is old so you don’t gotta buy it in 2 months when its 200 on ebay lol. But play what you wanna play, i was trying to play my games in order of oldest to new…and wasn’t working. So I just play whatever i feel like, and it helps the backlog feel less stressful
I’ve been doing this for a while. Great games that I enjoyed but didn’t even finish half way are:
Red Faction Guerilla
Dead Space 2
Sleeping Dogs
No More Heroes
Amored Core For Answer
Deus EX HR
I recently started Tales of Xillia and Spider-Man shattered Dimensions. I bought BBCP and stopped playing it because I don’t feel like putting in the effort. In fact, when I go through the FGs I do have, I only want to play VF5 FS because Jean’s karate is badass and Brad is the best kickboxer I’ve ever played. I also have DO5U which I do enjoy since the pace of the game is amazing and more fun than Tekken accept for those damn annoying counters and none of the character I like are fast(Hayate/Hayabusa/Jacky/Jann Lee). I’m also taking a break from Dark Souls I and II.
Man, I’ve had the Last of Us for such a long time, but I haven’t gotten around to playing it. I just beat Donkey Kong Returns on the Wii, after I had started a year and a half ago. I agree with Raz0r, different things take up more of your time. I just don’t feel like playing games anymore when I come home from work (unless my brother challenges me to a match of Street Fighter or Marvel) and weekends I’m busy doing other “things”. I haven’t given up on games completely; just the amount of time I dedicate to them.
I’ve decided to start The Last of Us soon and finally get around to playing the new Strider…
The only games I actively etch time out for are the Metal Gear Solid ones. Those will keep my ass indoors with a bottle of bourbon and a huge pizza pie.
I saw this shit happening to me and did what I always do when I see an addiction starting to become out of control: I set a rule for myself to put a cap on it. I made The Last Story the last game I was going to buy (dat symbolism doe) and until I finished my backlog I wouldn’t be buying another one. I’ve done a decent job of getting through the backlog but I’ll rarely break and spend money on an iPhone game sale…but at least it’s a couple of dollars compared to the hit I’d take from a console game. This new motherfucking Smash Bros might be what makes me full on relapse though. Gonna have to be strong when it drops. Thank you Baby Jesus for never leading me astray into the evil clutches of Steam because they would have played me so damn hard with those sales.
Bonus laugh for those that waited patiently…
& he can sell them for more hypebeasts mcstreetwear shirts. Played out all over print polka dot pumpernickel prettyboy
Physical copies are sometimes what people want, not for that reason alone but because its an added benefit you don’t get in digital. And all those games aren’t downloaded for many, just unlocked when they get around to it, owning the rights tied to that account. No trading unless they decided to denote it a “gift” and keep in an inventory. Can’t play it first, then trade it of course.
Yeah that JayZ thing was messed up. No help from Jay, too much to lose with his own business dealings ongoing with that company - so money over taking a stand on the issue for what would be right, asking for changes or else don’t deal with people like that, from the bottom or top down anywhere in that company
but kid whether or not he needed a $300 belt, just a belt, didn’t need to get held for questioning, rundown, clerks thinking they need to protect the “brand” and couture culture, like that Tommy Hilfiger didn’t make his clothes for black people to wear them. It was his debit card, name and Id checked out. Pretty shitty leap to he shouldn’t have money for this, doesn’t make sense any other way. We learned more about the victim, to pass judgment on him than the clerks, we learned more about the lady saying no to Oprah and those purses overseas lol, prob ruined her life. Don’t fuck with Oprah!
Daily Show just uses it to fill the spot, get some laughs, but at least had a quick collection and look at the hypocrisy. Clip not too recent now though, have to dig for it to find it again. “what does he do groundbreakings now, he was doing one, what a sellout!”
Why is a blurred out picture of me still on his hard drive…
Anyways. Almost all those games were full price or physical copy. I just made a steam yesterday when I bought Skullgirls lol.
It’s on my imageshack minnie, don’t get your hopes up.
Also no one cares how much money you wasted on shit you have never used lol. Living the American dream of being a worthless consumer that produces nothing yet indulges in everything. Revel in it like the pig…er, mouse you are.
Skullgirls, not great even bad-game, just went free for PSN+
And you’re mad because what now?
I really dont see how what I said LAST YEAR has anything to do with this topic OR how me having the money to spend on what I want to spend it on without having to save for months is a bad thing.
If you have some issue with me you can take it to private message instead of being mad corny posting pictures of me in the thread. Grow up, buddy.
You’re overstimulated.
“Dressed in all black, never seen in polka dots” was lost on this guy.
My PS plus ran out and you dont get to keep those game forever. Lol.
And it looks really good on PC monitor the sprites are really big and fat, when I was installing it.
Wow and this scrub probably owns a ps3 and just paid full price for that trash…sigh…
Yeah, I just said stuff about digital downloads. I know.
I tried it out on steam when it also had a free weekend. This game always seems to be free like they need to give it away. Lots of lost marketplace, company changing hands. Matchmaking lobbies still kinda strange, connections not too good. Hope they still don’t have “1 guy working on the online part.” Not the game for me, but I gave it a shot.
Didn’t bother with free update characters and such on xbox. Not about that life of some of these dudes commending the “adorable crouching light punches” on the zombie girl with the head injury. shit was too weird.
I’m not really that worried about SG, I know I’ll get around to it. I always come back around to the FGs. I was shitting on Injustice two days ago, but I know I’ll still try it out to be completely fair.
Those other games tho…so daunting. And I want to be GOOD in all of them. I think I have this idea in my head that I should be good in relevant or current games. I think its so weird how some people are EXTREMELY good in games like Donkey Kong Country 2 or Rival Schools, when absolutely nobody plays thos games, they do nothing but world record speed runs and glitch combos…I dont want to be that guy.
I stopped once I realized that about half of the games I was buying are complete trash. I’m pretty picky now.
Also, most of the time I cycle between certain games over and over again, while ignoring lots of other games. So maybe I’ll be playing fighting games, then get bored and play grand strategy games, then get bored and play Castlevania games, then get bored and play Dark Souls, then back to fighting games, and so on. Every cycle takes a week or two and if I do it a few times, then a month has gone by where I haven’t touched that new game I bought.
Sometimes I force myself to play games that I know are good but just haven’t given a chance, and this usually works out, but you can’t just force yourself to play video games all the time. It just doesn’t work that way.
I must have hundreds of unfinished games.
Unplayed is probably in the dozens range.
Its just a matter of time.
I mean, I have a busy schedule. Time with loved ones just eats up all my spare time…when you are watching like, 8+ anime series each season, plus having dozens of of blu ray box sets in the waiting, its hard to find a good few solid hours to sit down with a game.
