The only intelligent thing posted here, other than my posts. You guys need to get some manliness in you… For all of you who think not lifting the seat up and not cleaning it isn’t a normal accident for man, i bet you guys use condoms during sex.
Though I hate the fact you got fired for it, this sums it up for me as well. Way too often I have to deal with other people leaving piss (or a little worse) all over the toilet seat. It’s disgusting. I shouldn’t have to wipe up anybody else’s piss then wash my hands BEFORE I even get to taking a leak myself. Sometimes I just wait until I get home because I don’t want to deal with it.
I sincerely hope you can either work this out or find an even better job, but this isn’t something you should brush off as him being petty. A lot of us can’t stand this type of stuff.

I’m being considerate in a way, atleast the janitors have something to do and not just getting paid to sit around.
Honestly, barring something unforeseen I think he may be done - at least with that guy as a boss/manager. Best advice is to try to transfer to a different part of the company or just find a different job. Easier said that done, trust me I know. The thing about the corporate world is that things like this are huge strikes and people like to hold grudges. They remember and document stuff you wouldn’t give two craps (again no pun intended) about a couple hours later.
I’d say write a well thought out email, explaining what happened and that you’re sorry. Worst comes to worst, ask if you can resign so at the very least you don’t have a termination in your history.
