Can we use http://challonge.com/ to make brackets?
Saturday’s casuals. i will be needing some help with systems. i am bringing 1MvC3 (xbox) & 2 SSF4:AE (xbox). we will be using the system that is at the monstore and have that as a MvC3 station. i will also bring a PS3 with MK9. we have room for 2 more stations if any one can them. and a extra SD tv that we can use. elimination brackets will start at 8PM sign up for the brackets from 6 to 7:30pm brackets. are for people that pay casuals fee. this will be the last free brackets. after this its time to grind!
roman is your mk9 at the store? i will need to use it for the ps3 station.
stream will be up at 8pm
we will try to have the online brackets up also.
also remember to bring your own controllers or joysticks.
we will announce the winner of the raffle at the end of brackets. you can still buy tickets for the raffle during brackets.

Hey guys I’m new here, to the site and the area. I just moved to northern San Diego and this was the only place for casuals on Saturdays I could find, also the only one that uses xbox for street fighter which is cool because I only have a stick for the xbox. I was just wondering how to get there; interested in checking out the scene here. Just a few questions: Does this go down every Saturday? And when is a good time to show up?
I just looked up the distance on Google and I’m not sure if it’d be worth the gas money to head up there today, maybe sometime in the future if I’m spending the night at my cousin’s house in Temecula; unless someone can sell it to me and make me want to spend that gas money to get there of course.
I’m not going to be able to make it on Saturday but I hope the peeps keep coming! Cool to see all the new faces for AE!

its a good place to come and grind out a session. all the players here are chill and respectful. normally every one keeps to the face book group witch is why not so manny people post in here since for every one els its quicker to post on FB.

to get the best bang for you buck in terms of gas since your coming from SD i would wait for the ranbat season to kick in on 7/16/11 (MvC3). the ranbat will start at 1:30pm and when it finishes we will do casuals for 1hr. then go on break and return that same day at 6:00pm for casuals. casuals will run from 6pm to midnight.

Since his post had both games on the same day; it’s not.
Due to SBO qualifiers, (it says on facebook) MvC3 will be on the day of SBO Qualifiers (7/16/11) and AE will be the week after (7/23/11).
He essentially just switched it around.

elimination brackets will now be a permanent fixture in casuals.
(for people that may not know. if you pay the venue fee to play casuals you can enter any of the brackets. the brackets are a thing i do on the side for you guys to play in a competitive tournament format) -

How are the attendance numbers generally like for marvel 3 ? am deciding if it’s worth the 1 hour drive. I’m down south in orange county. Have many teams including a Magneto based team and a Modok team too. <-- This guy is underrated

four all tournaments and casuals all players are responsible for providing their own controllers/pads. i do bring extra sticks with me that i loan out and most of the players that come out don’t have a problem lending out sticks. MvC and SSF4 are the biggest crowds. marvel gets at least 12 players each Saturday for casuals.

this weeks casuals 7/16/10 setups will be about the same as last week.
also for the people attending the MvC3 ranbat 1.1 tournament mid day and casuals later that night we will have a station to watch all the SBO Qualifiers action.
