i talked to nestor and understandably he said he doesn’t want to commit to anything until we are much closer to evo. right now he can’t confirm 100% that he’ll even be there. so i appreciate that he didn’t post up a bet that he couldn’t definitely back up yet.
i have talked to some other EC players and they said they are going to back me, but since EVO world is still so far away, don’t want to commit any amounts yet. i respect that since people that know me know that i would never just spout my mouth off about a bet that i couldn’t keep. better to get closer to the event and lock in an amount that have someone just talk nonsense and then they don’t show up to EVO, and we’re short crazy money, you know?
on another note, a lot of people last night (while I was on the radio) told me that Mike Chaos is a decent MSP and i shouldn’t take him lightly. im kind of relieved because that match video posted earlier was just ridiculously bad. they also said they want me to practice b/c they dont want to see the match be straight up rape on either side. so i guess we’ll see how it goes. i don’t have a dreamcast anymore to practice on and there’s nobody in my area really to play anymore (most of CT has retired from the scene), but i guess i’ll just have to enter Marvel at every tournament i go to from now until EVO.
