I can not believe how good Kaillera is compared to a few years ago

Just a simple question. People keep telling me Mame should run fine on my computer. I tell 'em my spec’s and they say it should be fine, but it’s not.

I gotta disagree. It’s laggy as balls when I play you. Sorry ;_;

Well it probably helps most of the people I play are on the east coast/canada. Though I’ve probably played people from the midwest/west, most people that I’ve played that I know where they are from are on the east.

That’s a rather broad statement, without providing any details.

It’s laggy as balls when I play too…sometimes…and taking certain factors into account, is not unexpected…

Every time I play you, the framerate is terrible and there’s lots of delay, which is pretty rare for ST because I’ve played people with higher ping than you and have a much smoother experience. Don’t know how else to explain it

Ah, that was directed specifically towards me… Yes, we do always seem to have bad connections…and desync is almost always guaranteed within 5-10 games. Don’t know either…as I play ppl with 80-90 ping and have great games, then can go against someone with 40-50 and have horrible laggage…maybe it’s part luck of the draw? :wonder:

Highly disagree. It seems to more like the following (in the US servers atleast):

50% = Total Scrubs (this includes button mashers, and people who play for years without improvement)
30% = Newbies (lack knowledge of the game, but making some attempt to learn)
10% = Good (knows the game system, knows a variety of characters decently)
9% = Advanced Players
1% = Elite (hardcore arcade players that just own hard, almost never lose)

Kaillera is server<->client architecture ^^ so the ping of host is irrelevent.

And Emil, those figures does not look realistic. 80% newbs? lol You left some people out. Sould be more like:

5%: assholes<-these are people we hear about in threads like “gay kaillera logs” and "ownage"
20%: scrubs
20%: happy<-these are people who plays pacman and mario kert and…you get the point
40%: newbies & learning
15%: people who knows whats going on
