Yeah, when i heard the cancer left the first time I was excited that they could start the second season…then it had to come back (godammit).
But seriously I had a man-crush on andy, it’s gonna be hard on the eyes when i have to get adjusted to the new spartacus. nothing like getting a new james bond or batman, this shit matters.
I wouldn’t know how to introduce the new guy… maybe show a passing of the torch somehow in the mini-series coming up?

I knew it was going to happen, but it still sucks. The network waited as long as (they claim) they could and created Gods of the Arena just so that Andy would have a chance to come back. But he told them to recast after his relapse. When the man himself wants you to move on, I guess you’ve gotta do it. I just hope whoever they got does as good a job or it’ll kill it.
If its anything like the first season, I’ll have no complaints. Never watched a show that I expected to be nothing but blood and tits that turned into something with a good storyline and interesting characters. It was like finding $20 in the laundry. Hoping for a speedy recovery for Andy, I knew he’d make it big after seeing Gabriel.
