Remember that there is only 4 non-hitting frames between every hit in Dic’s st.LK loop (when it’s being executed perfectly). So you don’t need reversal timing, but it’s pretty damn close.
Not only will Honda’s reversal Torpedo beat Dictator’s st Short clean (most likely), but his reversal Oichio will always beat it clean, *if *you’re doing it right, and it’s not very easy to screw up a stored Oichio, it’s damn near brain dead.
Whats odd is that the reversals dont even come out even when I saw the message, in between the kicks I input a ochio(didnt have one stored) pianoed it, saw the reversal message and it just didnt come out. Like Blanka’s reversal attempt in the vid on mavericks post didnt even start up

That was probably reversal electricity, which has slow startup.
Bisons LK beats honda Torpedo by not allowing it to come out, as your doing the LK as long as youdont mess up the tapping rythem. If honda tries to torpedo you as the next LK comes out it will force Hondas torpedo back into block since honda torpedo strts from block it forces him back into block thus beating the torpedo.
You can try it your self but, the MS-LK has to be done right as make sure that you Dubble tap the the LK.
It works just like the Torpedo the ochio throw, the joystick or pad has to be at back postion so again if your timing the LK right it forces Honda back ito block which is almost Impossible to do that why i never try it more then 5 or 6 hits its super hard to keep that going perfectly. but it will stop blanka-honda-sim and bison moves dead in there tracks everyone else pretty much has a special move to counter him like ryu-ken DP guile-dj ground anit-air
The only time Dictator’s st Short will “beat” an invincible on startup special (Torpedo) is if you’re doing it fast enough as a combo. IMO Dictator can only do max 3 hits of the st Short as a combo (4 on bigger chars), before he’s pushed out too far. The way you’re doing it in that video is not a combo (some are, but not the majority). It looks like a combo to the untrained eye, but it’s just a very fast link.
Even if it is not a combo, it is still very useful, as Dictator can mess up the player’s reversal attack and reversal throw timing. If they try to attack when it’s a combo, esp charge characters will lose their charge timing. This is what you’re talking about when you say st Short will “beat” Torpedo. But if the Honda player does reversal Torpedo in between 2 st Shorts that are not a combo, then the Torpedo will beat the st Short. But with Honda, you just store Oichio db and mash punch and you will get Oichio or Slaps, not very hard to beat this strategy with Honda.
With Blanka it’s a little tougher, but not unbeatable. Thelo’s probably right that Electricity starts up too slowly (3 frames for the fastest version Jab), but Blanka can beat it with a well timed throw or reversal Roll. Tough to do, but not unbeatable, not by a long shot.
Not saying that it will beat Torpedo it just provents it from comming out, if honda does the T i will lose 100%.
As long as the block string is not broken honda cannot move or Reverse once the block string breaks is only when DIC can get hit. Like i posted previously it forces him back into block even though you did the torprdo command

Where can I buy a stick that has tirbo?? I heard a rumor that damdai, mavrick, and DGV all use tirbo sticks.
Tirbo is not available on open market sticks. You have to buy special DPTT switches for it at Lizard Lock.
It does at the very least trade with all the headbutts. It’s just hard to get it out because of the ungodly frame advantage those standing LKs have. The best thing for Honda to do is store Ochio and rap on the punch buttons. As soon as the Bison player stops his LK spam, he gets thrown.
