Can anyone tell my why Evil Ryu vs Ryu in the corner.
EX Axe Kick, cl.HP, jump HK does not hit? I have seen it hit in vids.
I cant hit it once in training mode on PC.

its not a “perfect setup”, you have to time the cl.HP. You have to wait like 1 or 2 frames to hit the cl.HP.
by the way, there are some setups that only hits when the opponent try to block, if he leaves the the joytick at neutral, the jumpin misses.
There has to be something else, cause I cant hit it at all. check this vid:

I can hit many other in this vid just not this. 
Ohhhhh, man I feel like a moron. I kept trying the set up myself and couldn’t ever land a hit so I assumed it required really strict timing. I just tried it now where I recorded the set up and then tried to block it myself and it worked. It’s good to finally know why it didn’t work before, can’t wait to try it out in matches now.

You need to get consistent enough with his combos to do them in a match.
Things not to do
-Red fireball 3 hits. Like ever except for chip
-Using sweep in a blockstring
-Using st.Fp. Holy shit just stop
-Blowing meter on a DP in the middle of a block string
-Dumb jumpins
Things that need to be done
-AA one of the floatiest jumpins in the game
-Blocking
-OS throw(seeabove)
-Matching Rose’s fireball with your own in a react-able range
-Punishing whiffed slides and drills

Far hp is good, and cl.hp is his most important combo tool. But yeah cl.hp is awful if you don’t cancel it.
Far hp is shit. Sure it’ll stuff occasionally and you’ll even get a counter hit which is huge damage. It’s good on Trade except that E.Ryu has only 900 health but it also loses ALL the time.
