So why did Vegeta’s voice change between versions???

SSJ Goku > the rest. His teleport stuff is ridiculous. Would have rather they had made certain moves teleport cancel-able on block. Wakeup DP then teleport is a good wakeup strategy, pretty much either hitconfirms into a combo or puts the opposing player into a blockstring for a mixup.

and the teleport is only half a bar.

He is completely dependent on the teleport though. Increase the meter cost and he can’t do anything.

SSJ Goku can’t combo off a counter. And kill anyone at any amount of HP for no bar.

You have to realize that this means Vegeta CANNOT be hit on block not even once while he has half a bar or you’re done. Counters cannot be countered. They freeze time until frame 0 of the person countering’s frames start. You can cross him up, teleport at him or so, but you cannot hit him on the ground. Teleport won’t come out during the counter to make any ground blockstrings safe.

That ALONE means Vegeta is better than him. I’m pretty sure NO one is supposed to be able to combo off counters in any of the upcoming char releases. Maybe Gohan will be able to do stuff like this.

You can change between US and JP versions of voices in one of the .def files.

The whole comboing off of counters is unintentional and Vegeta’s ability to do so is getting removed.

well you can make the teleport on 1 bar and have it on a timer ala sf alpha. where he can teleport unlimited till time runs out.

Id rather see him become more dynamic. That would remove the 100% combos but he would still be a boring asshole.

Grave bump. Not sure if people are still following this game, but there’s an Evo build of the game available on the group’s facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/HyperDBZ). The build has playable versions of Gohan and Freeza.
