Buk I think if you switch that combo a bit it would do more damage. If you move the baroque to the beggining of the combo, since in baroque you do more damage with red life. Why not move it to the front of that combo so all the other hits do a little more damage?

You can add an Extra A during the reset combo:

Launcher: j.a, j.a, j.b, j.b, Jump Cancel, j.b, j.b 360 + AB

So 236A/B/C whiffs some of the kicks for a combo when the opponent is crouching. Is there any way to produce a combo around crouchers with 236A/B/C and if not, what are some good combos with the character crouching?

So after 623P, P, 214p i can never get the 360 to catch… I’ve tried like 40 times!
There’s been so many tries where I’m like “Finally!”, then quickly followed by a “are you serious?? This is impossible.”

Can anyone make a vid, so i can see the height for when i should start the 360?

do you guys think Jun is a good assist for polymer? she has a good amount of distance on her assist.

I actually diggin’ on Ryu. His assist doesn’t knock down, so it allows Polymer to throw in more ground combos. Ryu is the the best assist i’ve found to combo into his lvl.3 special as well.

ex: :snka::snkb::df::snkb::snkc::qcf::p: Baroque :snka::snkb::df::snkb::snkc::qcf::p: immediate P :qcf::2p:

what i learned from this vid… is the fact that you can call your assist AGAIN after you baraque

Do it off of the 2nd kick. The 3rd kick puts them too far away. as for the height, try it when they’re above his head. Its tough to input the super command and NOT get the 3rd kick, but work at it.

lovepig thanks for the props. For some reason if you use the assist in the beginning of the combo, a little bit during your baroque state, your assist is ready again. I tried it with morrigan to see if it wasn’t just a ryu thing.

I also tried starting this combo different by bit calling ryu later in the combo. He came out once but was never “ready” again. To test this out i had free baroque on and just kept baroqueing for about 60 hits and he was never ready till I dropped the combo again…

I know this might sound dumb, but for some reason, I’m having a lot of trouble performing the 3rd hit of the Rekka kicks…any tips, like the timing of when the input should be?

as soon as you do the second. the timing isnt too hard, it might just be the motion, I have that problem sometimes too.

I’ve been using polymar with Karas, couple of tricks I’ve found. If you do whatever block string into karas assist -> cancel normal into stance C, you can do an unblockable. While karas’ assist comes out, they’re getting thrown. Doesn’t seem to be a way out of it, not a ton of damage but hey, a free throw every time you have an assist is pretty good.

A B 2B C Karas Assist 236A+B+C is really easy for the level 3 super.

When switching to karas, but you call in poly’s assist, you can dash through them 2-3 times repeatedly crossing them up while he kicks at them. You can stop you dash at any time by pressing A or 2A and cancel the cross up. You’d have to be a pro to block all that shit.

Oh and I’m not sure if this reset works but it looks like it should, unless they can jump out the very second they land. Basically you do whatever ground combo into 623A super cancel into the grab. You should grab them right as they land when they’re still in a crouching state. Someone wanna test that?

Also you don’t have to be near a wall to combo his 46A punch. Just dash in with whatever attack, if you’re quick you can combo it. If my ground throw reset works, you can do 46A dash in 6C 623A throw super.

Oh another thing with karas that’s kinda silly. If you do karas’s counter super and delayed cancel it into the poly throw super, they can’t attack you or it’ll counter and they can’t just stand there because they’ll get thrown.

edit: found something else. You can actually combo into his super throw from a ground combo after doing 46A into dashing B 2C 6C 623C C 214C super throw. Basically it seems anytime you do his kick recka when they’re OFF THE GROUND, you can combo into the throw.

With Polymar can combo his level three super with several other characters’ assist as well. Just do (3 icons) A, B, c.B, C, QCF+C (send assist as soon as string begins) XX QCF+2 attacks.

Assist can be done with any of the following: Tekkaman, Jun, Ryu, Souki, Casshern, Saki, Rock Volnutt, Ken the Eagle, Karas, Doronjo (inconsistent), Chun-li, Morrigan, Roll, Batsu
