No power, no damage done to any homes in the area except for one building. Trees everywhere, small and large. A few really large ones did take the L. Currently about half the city has power which is actually good when you consider the EYE went right over us. One store decided to open and was packed within 5 minutes. I’m headed to my sisters to charge my phone for the night.

I saw that Universal Studios and Walt Disney got hit pretty hard during Irma, I heard its back on the map now that’s pretty dope.
NOLA could’ve used less Floridians. They were everywhere.
I guess jose still hasn’t made the move yet. I hope it fizzles out before it can hit land, but I hope all of you are ready in case it doesn’t.

Well, we got through Irma. Some areas still lack power, supermarkets are getting resupplied…things are getting back to what passes for normal here.
Several of my friends that were originally from NOLA went running back to it.
Oh God now they’re talking about two more hurricanes forming. Been named Lee and Maria.
Somebody fucked up and pissed Nature off…
Yup and his name is Gumshoos…er…I mean Trump.
I think I’d better check in and say we lost power 1:41 AM on Monday and was restored 4:18 PM on Wednesday. But other than a sweaty couple of days, typical yard debris, and a single lost shingle, we fared well. However, I had to travel southeast and repair a fence for relatives. That’s all from me, but I hope all of you are safe and if you do not have power that it would be restored soon.
