So I’m debating holding a get togeather at my Aptartment this saturday (8/13). It would be at night and I live in east Huntington. I am scouting to see who might come out. I would hate to say i’m hosting and only one person who drove 40 minutes shows up or something. Please let me know if you would be up for this.

I played with Irby every once in a while. He worked at the Tilt when they still made decent business (as in, when they actually repaired their machines). Damn place has been a ghost town for years now. I’m surprised it’s still in business.

Nah, I don’t play T6 online: it’s one of the laggiest experiences ever and launchers are practically useless because of the time delay. Thanks anyway, though.

I’ll be upfront though…I often can’t do anything due to my college schedule. I’m finishing a 4 year degree in 2 and I’m only off M, Tu, W.
Also all that college is making me so free during rough semesters. Its why I’m usually still sporting Ryu+Sentinel stuff on my teams. Only dudes whose timing I can never seem to screw up no matter how long I’m out of practice. When I’m practicing though its usually on Spencer and Haggar stuff. Here’s hoping I can somehow make Haggar viable in Ultimate with some good assists. I’m betting on Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Strange or one of the 4 remaining reveals to make his approach on folks more accomplishable. Bottom tier 4 life.

I’m a very casual gamer, always between about 5 games at once so never got a chance to invest real time into UMvC3.

Ya we actually haven’t had a get togeather in awhile. I’ll talk to some people and maybe see if we can get a game night set up soon. But I’m usually willing to play in the evenings if I’m available(no fridays) so feel free to send me a message here or on facebook if someone wants to play.
When is the next get together? I’m a huge FG fan but I haven’t had a chance to reliably play since I lived out in Arizona. Big scene out there, even got to play a bunch of Cali guys! That was years ago and I can’t stand playing online so I spend most of my time watching streams and messing around in practice modes.

I’d like to host something soon and get our regular meetings back into gear. Winter/Holiday season really took a toll on our regularity. I’m from Wheelersburg,OH which is a tad closer to WV then Portsmouth,OH is. Let me know if you would be interested.
I’d love to play some MvC3 with someone generally new to it, same as I am since A: none of my friends play fighting games B: they (for some reason) don’t know how to play THIS fighting game and C: I’m tired of getting my ass kicked by people online because I’m a rush fighter. I usually don’t block and it causes me to lose just about every time.
Also yeah. Really looking to improve.
What’s funny about that is that a few years ago, when I went to Valley Worlds of Fun in Fairmont for the first time, I played the crap out of the Tekken 4 cabinet they had. Next day, I go to the Sam’s Club (Which is now a Wal-Mart Supercenter, those bastards) and get a copy of Tekken 4 for the PS2.
I actually used that for practice when I eventually went to Valley again, and when I did, the machine was busted. I’m pretty sure it’s gone now, but man, does it feel SO much better playing the cabinet than the home versions.
