It does when I know BF has invested millions in building its newsroom yet you motherfuckers are concerned about the ones who write editorials you don’t like. You don’t like what they say? Don’t read it. But BuzzFeed has its worth if you know where to look.
Out of interest, I went to the ‘news’ section of their site. It’s a bizarre, bizarre mix of feel good stories, clickbait and real, actual news.
Seeing news about the recent church shooting right next to ‘THIS INSANE RAINBOW IS THE MOST SYDNEY THING OF ALL TIME’ is a hard sell to trust them for news.
Yeah I hate that they do that, an awful choice for sure. But it doesn’t detract from their news team. They’ve poached some of the best reporters from stalwarts on journalism. Those posts you see about silly shit are usually written by “editors” in the general bullpen.
You keep touting this like it’s some kind of gospel truth.
Put up or shut up.
Post any link that you think is really good journalism from BuzzFeed.
It is true when they have a serious as fuck news division. It is not my fault, or their’s, that you refuse to do the research your own self you lazy fuck. Pay attention to news other than the latest loli pillow hitting the market.
This has been evident for a year and a half and just because you don’t know about it doesn’t make it any less true. Once again, you’re too focused on content you hate rather than reading the great shit they pump out that the simple-minded folk whose attention spans rivals that of a fruit fly won’t read.
And those links I posted above are just a FEW of the really good stories they’ve pumped out. They have the money, resources, and clout to get real journalism done in an erawhere war reporters can’t even cover basic expenses. Face it, they are necessary.

Parts of this thread is trashing BuzzFeed for no other reason other than they don’t like it. You don’t want to read the site? Fine. I don’t like the entertainment side much, either, after Matt Bellassai or whatever his name is went on Twitter and confirmed BuzzFeed’s stance when a Tweeter complained about BF’s entertainment articles always skewering straight, white men but never doing the same to other groups.
But if you’re going to say that, have proof yourself. BuzzFeed News is FILLED with award-winning journalists (which is why I linked the first article) who have the resources, time, and perseverance to write some of the most deep articles I’ve read outside of the major publications. You aren’t going to attack them and have me not say anything. Not without solid evidence of them being as trash as you claim they are.
