antant:
Really impressive stuff!
I really like the Hugo/Gief one (well, maybe not the questionable grabbing, even though Gief does swing that way), there’s a nice sense of power that Gief is giving it his all to budge the immovable object Ryu pic is cool too.
Do you use references for the faces? Because Gief really looks EX style and Ryu looks SF3-ish. Presented right, they’d be believable as official sketches.
looking forward to more from you.
LazyYetCrazy:
we normally don’t post other work in someone else’s thread unless we ask first. Fortunately, antant seems cool with it and it helps that you also did it in a “btw” kind of way, plus it was related.
Deonysios:
I’m glad that the work was credited to Falcoon, though. It’s good etiquette.
AntAnt: the guy who did FFT is Akihiko Yoshida. I wasn’t able to find anymore works from him though.
rook:
Yah, for the gief vs. Hugo pic I used references. For gief, I used his look from SFA2, which is kinda the same look he has in all the video games after SFA2. And for hugo, I used the SF3 3s pic, but since you can’t see his face, I used it for his clothing. I also found some body building pics on the 'net to use for his back-muscles.
As for the Ryu sketch, I just drew him off the top of my head, cause I use to draw him the most of any character when I first started drawing. LOL, I didn’t realize until now, but I have his entire picture from all angles engraved in my brain.
Dreaded Fist:
Thanks for the info, Imma try to see what I can grab of Yoshida’s stuff.
again, thanks to everyone for the positive feedback
ps: I posted this in someone else’s thread but…anyoen know where viciousSlash’s avatar is from? I mean what anime?
check the other thread, OrangeCat replied already.
Whoa, great drawing man! Very nice facial expressions and perspective. I likey!
