Damn, the game doesn’t look that ridiculous on my T.V. They should’ve toned down the speed before they shipped it out. Fast does not = better, this isn’t Street Fighter 2 turbo.

IMO it just got better over the course of the series. MI was pretty much just bad, MI2 was fun, but not great, and MIA is actually a good game, and one of the few games I still play regularly. However, I have to say that I didn’t really like the new character designs that much. They fit in the game well enough, but I don’t really like any of them enough to play them (except for xiao lon, that would be sex).
I wouldn’t mind if MI characters made it into a 2D KoF game. I have wondered what those characters would play like if SNK put them in a 2D game.
I liked Nagase, the whole Battle Disc System and such were pretty neat, and the fact that she used Hanzo’s moves was cool.
I think I’d prefer to get Mai first.

Well… Maximum Impact 2 had Fio from Metal Slug… so… Yes.
MI2 had some issues…guard meter shenanigans being one of the worst. I still think it was more fun than MI…
MI Regulation A was great though. MIRA fixed any issue I ever had with the MI series and I really wish it had gotten a US release. We still play Reg A on gaming nights. The game has a lot to explore and I don’t think it ever got the credit it deserved.
