Incubation, mission 7 - Escort dr Reich. The objective is in the name, that’s all you have to do, escort some useless fucking civilian.
Normally, a game has a clear set of rules which are established early, usually during some sort of training levels or tutorial. This game has those. But this level completely disregards what we’ve previously learned and is the only level that does that - levels 8 and onward abide by the same rules as 1-6. Standard Incubation rules are that moving platforms are controlled by the player, and in order to complete a stage, you need to reach the mission objective with one squad member. This level wants you to move your entire squad to a, what appears to be, immovable platform. The platform will then proceed to automatically take you to the finish line. Nowhere are you told about this, it’s not even hinted anywhere. You are to assume that the rules have changed for this one level. A level with stage hazards, artillery fire and partially invulnerable enemies. Fucking annoying.
