Pleasantly surprised by this movie (my track record with Dreamworks stuff has been…urgh). Excellent movie, probably the best one I’ve seen this year so far.
The blonde viking guy MUST HAVE BEEN DELICIOUS.

Eh I guess I’ll give this movie a go. Wasn’t impressed with the preview when I was at a theatre but SRK is rarely wrong when it comes to films and games.
Srk does not disappoint.
Great movie, great use of 3d. Flying+3d= makes it seem like I’m flying, just need the winds rushing by my face!
I assume everyone complimenting the movie solely for its use of 3D (which is, admittedly, quite good) is just trying to avoid spoilers.
SERIOUSLY IT’S ALSO A REALLY GOOD CHARACTER-DRIVEN STORY.
DR. B IN CAPS IS EVEN MADDER SEXIER.
Saw it today with my family. Probably the only film dreamworks has done that’s remotely close to pixar level quality.
My son loved it, and my girl wanted to see it right after we left. lol

Ha ha ha, she’s watching the trailer for the movie right now. lol Seriously, it really was good. I was impressed.
I think it’s messed-up how Dreamworks won’t even say the full name of the movie in trailers. It’s like some unliked smaller team made it, and the rest of DW is disrespecting it or something. I might catch it after a home release.
I actually don’t like the title of the movie.
why
He didn’t so much train a dragon as he befriended an insanely powerful one and devised a way to help it overcome an otherwise debilitating injury.
I would have called the film “The Dragon Rider” or something similar, despite the title of the book it’s based on.
Dr. B is the bigass hot chick rider.
This movie was amazing and i couldn’t care less about the title.
if you really wanted to be anal about it, it could be called "synergizing man and beast: a viking tale."
the 3-D was done excellently, the characters were unique but not polarizing and the dragons were cool as hell. i walked out of that movie with a similar feeling as avatar, “why isn’t the world i live in like that”.
i will be getting that on blu immediately and probably back to the theater for a second viewing.
