I think it’s awesome that justin’s getting good at tekken. I remembered seeing him at clash and he was playing julia…he lost all his matches but nonetheless he was solid and he knew what he was doing. Now I’m hearing that he’s gotten really good, pretty damn exciting to see that the tekken scene is building it’s way back up to something ferocious.

Seriously though , any new talent in tekken is a good thing. New talent in any fighting game is a good thing. Anything to keep fighters goin strong.
If you’re good at one game, the skills translate. Basic fighting games will translate from game to game, and top player fundamentals, any top tier SF player could enter a Tekken tournament with reasonable practice and not embarass themselves, and vice versa.

Just so you fools know(I had to ask Arturo myself), Wong has been playing Tekken on the low for a WHILE now, I think as far back as the early T4 days, or mid-TTT era, I can’t remember. All he’s doing is adjusting to T5, which isn’t that hard. Just because you don’t see him play all the time(until now) doesn’t mean he doesn’t play it…

if you play fighting games at all it’s not too hard to learn any of them. his feng is not godlike, he came to philly with henry cen and HIS feng was 5x better. thread creator needs to lose that boner.
