Oh man the fireball zoning, looked like a SF game there for a sec haha.
the real joke is that he made that last fireball unblockable with a bug
is it the playstyle? like is that runaway something he does often?
if so, i dun see how that’s a reason to dislike him.
but i doubt that’d be the reason. lol.
That is one crazy keep away game. Ralf player probably spiral DDT’ed him afterward.
and he deserved it, lol.
also funny kof 98 vid. he shouldve rolled more offensvilly and just CD countered sie. or just chip win with the qcf,hcb super. he had more than enough chances. in the end he got himself.
edit: so besides command throws this super also makes firebals unblockable?
any moves with position shift, iori’s qcb+B is the same.
agree with you, ralf could be better.
So tell me more about this VF Aileen player, why is he hated?
And I don’t play much VF anymore but couldn’t would just keep getting closer with d/f~d/f crouch dashing? Was he afraid of getting backthrowed for a ring out or something stupid like that?
I don’t see why Wolf was spamming moves from 10x the length of their hitboxes instead of getting his spacing right first, this says more about Wolf than about VF5.
You can roll that qcf hcb+P super on reaction of the flash, it’s really not a good idea. I think Ralf’s best option was to just guard roll one of those sweeps that were cancelled into fireball, Ralf definitely had the meter for it.
guard roll till a second fast ball in his face lol.
i wish he could just take it slower, even run+block works.
walking in vf5 is better than it looks but it also depends on char. vanessas walk was ridiculous too

I’ve seen the “reaction” vid elsewhere before. I’m fairly sure they’re not connected and just spliced together for comedic effect.
Anyways I’ve seen my fair share of wolf - eileen videos (used to main her) and I’m pretty sure the wolf player was just dumbfounded for a few. If that actually worked people would have talked about it.
you gotta realize that everything wolf could have done would have whiffed, and his walk is not as good as eileens, and he didnt have life lead. he would need to use a circular/half circular move, but first he would have to get in range and the move would have to be fast enough to hit her before she moved out of range again. the only thing that fits the bill would be wolfs 1k which is only half-circular, and has to be stepped to his back (the way eileen player was walking). hed have to get close enough to grab and he would have to dash so many times that it would be very difficult as the eileen player only has to see him getting close and press a button. maybe his 66pg would work. note that a big reason why shou won in that match i posted is because he 9pg run grab will catch that walk
Would wolf’s catch throw work there?
I can see Jeff having massive problems there as well, destruction wave kick may have been his best choice, or one of his shitty half-circulars.
??
Thems the breaks.
what about the CD attacks kensou was using (from close enough)? those recoveries last long enough for ralph to take advantage of with the super i mentioned. it IS his fastest super as you know. also using it from the right distance even without kensou hitting you could hit it for chip. do it from such a distance that they cant immediatly roll through it but actually got to time the roll as doing it too fast means youll roll into it, too slow and youll chipp. mai had a cheap ass safe ass move for this in 97, dp+C. dont remember if she had in in 98 or not.
and raven tech, you mean the HCB + k move or the QCB + P move of iori (or either, even his dp moves him forward a but, this work as well)? cause normally youd do HCB-F+C.
yea, he really could’ve tried to throw, or get close enough to fake the throw and land a CH or something.
Man that cat was pissed, they had to drag that bamma out.
srs bizniss
cool video
i wish they played vf5 in tournaments, i would love to play it
Its refreshing to see a 3D game with movement. If anything this makes me want to buy VF5.
