spent 100 dollar SE stick
killed 10000000 brain cells fighting flowchart ken
$150 for the TE
$60 for the game
Mad Tournament Entries/very few wins : Priceless
Man, I don’t want to tell people how to spend their money, but damn.
That’s a lot of money.
60$ 360 copy
150$ SE Stick (during hype. learned my lesson)
130$ TE Stick (ironicly paid less)
55$ on tournament entries/Haven’t placed yet
about 20$ at Chinatown Fair
Less than 10$ on alternate costumes
If I could do everything all over again I would change a few things.
Not spend money on MvC2 re-release, BlazBlue, Gow2, new halo3 maps. All of these things are worth the money but not when you play SF4 too much to enjoy them.
Never buy anything during hype. I paid almost double the retail price for the SE. In my defense though I wanted to learn how to use a stick ASAP to enter tournaments.
Not buy TE stick. Great wonderful stick. But it hasn’t improved my game so its not neccessary. On that note I would’ve skipped on the Alt costumes. Maybe not balrogs.
P.S. Why did so many of you buy multiple sticks and copies of the game?
$60 for the game and I bought the costume packs one by one…so I dunno how much that is…
Holy crap, dude. I realize there are a lot of awesome formatting tools, but you don’t need to use all of them in your post. It’s kind of annoying.
Hotel booking and travel to tourneys count in SFIV related items don’t they? Cause that added up hella fast on my credit cards.
I bought the 360 copy after I found out the PS3 online crowd is pretty slim when compared to 360. After I purchased the xbox copy I had to get a TE stick to play on.
All said and done the xbox copy was a waste, the PS3 gameplay feels alot more fluid to me. Also I seem to have less poor inputs on the PS3 version when executing FADC’s, block strings, etc
Keep the replies coming, there are a few of you who have blown me out of the water w/ spending, who can top the $12,000 poster??
Also, tickets, hotels, tourny fees, etc DO count
If we count that shouldnt we count winnings too? xD

Yikes! Well thats what I get for having 4 sticks. Luckily I already had a Weller soldering iron
To be fair, really most of that money was for a new hobby, stick building. It has provided me days and days of entertainment. Street fighter is just a bonus.
Haha, sure, although other ppl on here may have outdone me
Don’t let the flamers get to you, just line up the crosshairs and fire back, there are definitely some closet “toughguys” that come out of the woodwork (all the while hiding behind a computer screen), but there’s also alot of good ppl on this forum too
