is the qanba q4raf black verion guaranteed to have the low input lag PCB? just want to make sure. otherwise Omni stick with paewang PCB seems more like a sure thing.
I play on PS3 according to the list Qanba Q4, red, white and blue is 13ms more than the black Q4Raf. because of this… I am mainly interest in the black one but I want to make sure that it doesn’t have a different version of the PCB on the black model.
I got a question: So (for example) the paewang is better on 360 than ps3. If I hook it into my PC on 360 mode will it be better than on ps3 mode? I know there isn’t much of a difference between the two, but its just an example question - for a board that has a big difference.
I am not interested in the color or looks. I just to get the one with the lowest lag. so buying the black one doesn’t guarantee I am getting the original pcb?
How much ‘laggier’ is the board? I’d bet that if its just 4-6ms its not much. I only noticed a difference because I went from nearly 16 ms to nearly 0.
Nearly zero compared to the reference stick. We don’t know what the baseline is for that yet.
Remember that even the fastest possible device should clock in fairly at 1ms, since 1ms is the smallest polling window for a full speed USB device. Only high speed USB devices have polling intervals below 1ms.
thanks again teyah, I hope you can add more sticks on the list. I have suggestion how about using the stock PS3 and 360 controller as baseline? I understand that its possible some PCB might have lower input lag but that can be represented by a negative number.
