I think PS4 players have options to look for more info on the PS4 player (region, flag etc). I dont own a PS4 so I am not sure. Something not possible if you are a PC player and want to look for info about the PS4 player or lobby.
Unfortunately PC battle lobbies are very rare but they do not seem to have this issue. I mean if I search for lobbies and I see a PC one, network and flag are displayed correctly. PS4 lobbies are hit or miss.
I would just be content if I could see the country flags.
Yeah, two fans that are clearly better at coding than the programmers that work at Capcom.
No surprise there, but still, that’s the reality: What takes two good programmers a week to do could take a team of mediocre programmers months to do, and the results would still be worse.
Yeah, the weird thing is that the player rank is loaded instantly… I don’t get why it’s harder to preload the flags too.
I don’t think console people have more means than us though, I always have ton of PS4 players joining my lounge and then quitting right away after seeing the bars.
PC has some major roll back issues. I also have it on PS4, and it’s no where near as bad. PC looks MUCH better though, so I mostly play it on there. I have a end PC and never drops frames. I heard mostly people with high end PC’s are having issues. I don’t know how true that is though…
I enjoy PC more, but I’ve switched to PS4. It just doesn’t feel the same so playing on LAN at events is kinda weird. Hard to explain, really. If I were only playing at home and online? I’d choose PC.
I got it for PC, and let me tell you, it works great. Apart from the initial control hoops I had to go through at the beginning to play it. The game is stable, an I can play against PSN and PC players. The best part is that I can train and check a combo on youtube really fast. Its more practical on PC for practice. Now considering that there will be a lot of updates, it may actually be cheaper to get it on PC.
Why you are so sure that Neo is coming out november ? So far it’s a public secret. I would buy it now on pc, you’ll have mods which are big plus. You can buy it on Neo anytime later then game gets a price drop.
EDIT: just read later comments, you got it all ready.
SFIV is more than 5 years old. SFIV works on max settings on dual core CPUs.
SFV, on the other hand, is extremely demanding. If you could run SFIV on max, you may not be able to get steady 60fps in SFV even on low. And without 60 you can forget about online play. It’s really poorly optimized.
You need to turn that game to at least 1080p, unlike SF4, as the images with text are designed for this (you can’t read titles at 720p), other than that, it’s not too spec heavy. I can run it stable on low graphics on a 2011 PC with an HD 6850 graphics card (the only really important factor in how well the game can run).
