How high is too high for a fever?

Desi fever count as yellow fever?

Posting in last, pre-retarded Rhio2k thread.

So do you know what the possible cause of your fever was?

I totally misunderstood the title when I came in here…
feel better buddy

You were right. Shit came back to 100 degrees, I lost all energy (but the soul still burns). This is some bullshit. I haven’t gotten sick in like 9 years.

No idea. It came on suddenly while I was driving for my company. Suddenly, the truck ac started raising goosebumps…and a half hour later, my lunch gave me the old “peace, nigga, I’m out.”. Then an hour after that, what was left in my stomach decided it wanted to see the outside world and be all it could be. Incidentally, if any Tampa peeps were driving a white sedan in the Seffner area last night on Falkenburg road near US 92 behind a large black and white F350, I’m really sorry.

There’s never been one.

Hang in there bro. Just stay comfy, watch a show or something and make sure you drink water regularly. I bet the fever is making you sweat like a pig too, so important to keep drinking small quantities of water to stay topped up.

There is otc meds for fever so use that if it gets too heavy.

Get well soon!

I’m laying down next to a box fan on high, and cell-surfing the net. I can actually get up and do things, but it’s frustrating that I get tired immediately. If this is what elderly people feel like all the time, forget about it.

You know when I’m not feeling a hundred percent, I too seek the thoughts and opinions of the srk community. I find that this is infinitely more helpful than seeking medical aid for my ailments.

Rhio man go see a doc. I had a bad fever and sore throat once, but because I delayed the doc it turned out that it was a throat abscess that became full blown pneumonia. Good luck SRK brother

Yeah… generally speaking 105 is cause for hospitalization, as that temp and higher can be fatal, as your internal organs start shutting down. Just fyi.

Go to doc post haste.

My fever wasn’t that high last week but I feel your pain. I hope you get better as fast as possible, and I agree with the rest of the posters. You should really go see a doctor.

Vynce didn’t see my joke with him and this one always nakey movie lady.

Repost.

I got delirious once as a kid. I had a minor fever and a loose tooth. I was fine, really, just bored and at home from school. Then I decided to pull the tooth because I had nothing better to do and somehow the act of losing the tooth made me basically lose my mind. I woke up a while later on the other side of the house, on the floor, with an immense headache because I fell backwards onto a wooden stair. I couldn’t move from the floor for several minutes, too.

Well, at 104 internal temp, internal organs can be permenantly damaged or rendered dead. You’re doing better at 99, but I’d still go to the doctors. Hope you find out what caused it and don’t let it happen again.

Hope you get better soon, man!

I was a little bummed to learn that this isn’t a really strange weed thread.

Nigga stop lying. 108 and your ass would be in a coma or dead somewhere.

Broke thermometer ass

Having your internal temp drop just one degree is enough to give you the chills.

This dude contracted that avian aids from having sex with chickens.

I wonder who came first?

Man, I really hope the thermometer was broken…but having that high a temp doesn’t knock you out from what I’ve read…although I did fall asleep less than a minute after getting that reading. Does anyone know if the digital thermometers have a greater margin for error? Anywho, temp’s in the normal range (97.1), appetite is back, so sliced chicken breasts boiled with noodles, and grape juice (not “drink”…it’s not the same formula…ain’t no vitamins in that shit) diluted with water are what’s on the menu today. Things still feel a little…“off”, perception-wise, so I’m staying home today, too, then seeing how I feel Thursday. Apparently there’s this stomach thing going around my neck of the woods. They just did a segment on it in the local news yesterday. Doctors recommend Imodium, plenty of fluids, and rest. Are you guys doing the old “Crouching Employee, Hidden Cell Phone” and posting from work throughout the day?
