How do YOU training mode?

i don’t ever really use rog in training mode. none of his combos are tough enough to really require practice, except maybe s.lp, c.hk, but it’s safe on block anyway.

so you don’t use training mode, but you posted in the how you use training mode section.

Good for you.

i can post wherever i feel like posting, thanks.

I just keep doing rush upper loopx2, cr. jab, cr. jab, overhead, cr. short, rusher upper loopx2 repeat.

Builds my chops for just about any bnb that starts with a jab.

set the dummy to random block and hit confirm my jabs so i dont do 5 jabs and miss everything else trying to punish a whiffed something,
also working on consistent j.fierece-s.rh-sj.ab-s.rh

when i go to training mode i like to find max distances for rogs pokes since they are gdlk

max distance c.hk, opponent blocks then retaliates and whiffs, they eat the 2nd c.hk b/c their first one whiffed

i also do the generic c.lpx2, c.lk, headbutt, ultra/super

my rog sucks :frowning:

oh i also practice c.lp(x2), s.lp, c.hk so i can dash/walk in and apply pressure while still scoring a knockdown

I just need to practise on combos or else I’ll just miss everything and bp down the toilet.

Since we’re on this, I want to know if there are any pre-sets to training mode so I don’t have to select infinite ultra, auto block, etc everytime.

Muscle memory BnB. Once in a while, I’ll practice rush upper loops for flash’s sake.

I never play online, ever, under any circumstances. I feel very strongly about this. I know it is the only way to go for those stranded in isolated regions; luckily for me, I live in SoCal.

Even though I live in Montana (for the time being lol), I never really play online, either.

Spend 8 months in the Japanese arcade scene, and online just doesn’t cut it. :shake:
