Just play endless matches. If the match doesn’t feel right just leave. Nobody gets mad (well, some people still seem to feel the need to message me for leaving a laggy ass endless match right away but screw them), and you don’t have to stress about PP, the most ridiculously named fighting game ability measuring scale ever invented.

I don’t understand the connectivity bars in this game, it’s the only thing I’d say genuinely needs fixed. Case in point:

There’s no way red bars = 0 lag, specially if you’re from the US and playing against Japan which means this isn’t an error or something like that.
Even if there’s no skipping at all, when you’re playing in red bars the entire game becomes WAAAY slower than normal, it’s literally a waste of time.
I didn’t believe it either, and I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it first hand. I’m in SCOTLAND, and they were in South. E. Asia. It’s bloody amazing that I managed to play at all. But dude, seriously. There was absolutely ZERO drops in speed, no jittering, no jumps, no lag, it was a perfectly smooth game.

Only explanation to your situation is that the bars didn’t update and the person was just using the region’s flag and wasn’t actually in Asia at that moment, don’t see how it would be lag free otherwise lol.

Keep it too green ping, and if it turns out to be one of those “pseudo green-pings” that drop to yellow after the match begins, ask whether they are using wireless, or have something else eating up bandwidth. Nine times out of ten, it’ll be your opponent.
Like the other dude said, I just let the other guy win. Then I mute the guy so I have something to let me know not to play him again.
