How do I unscrew super-tight Seimitsu buttons?

lol i don’t think so either.

Use pliers. Just had that problem earlier and I used some pliers to latch onto the screw-ins and twist it off.

I doubt a water displacement formula would be a good thing to use on a button

I go with kfree on this one.
Cover the microswitch and spray the wd-40 on it. Nothing bad will happen as long as its just on the bottom side of the button and the nut.

For future refrence, you only need to get it “pinky tight.” Which means, tighten it as hard as you can with your pinky and when you feel a lot of resistence, stop. This allows not only for a snug fit but also will allow you to unscrew it with your index and thumb without any issues.

Next time just tighten the nut on the button until its almost tight. Then hold the nut and turn the button using the microswitch until its snug enough that its not going anywhere.

edit-

Hey Kfree… 2psi… lol

nothing will happen.

Wrap the screw in rubber bands tightly. Get a wrench to grip the rubber and yank.

Pliers on the nut, wrench on the switch?
