Learn to block mixups and don’t do anything that leaves you in an unsafe position ?
Also, don’t get thrown or drop combos.
When you punish, make sure you punish b.i.g.
Nothing more satisfying than dropping a Seth player’s mix up and rush down confidence in two combos.
how do i shot web
also when u escape he can OS stuff so dont get predictable

not to be a dic(k) (see what i did there), but there’s a matchup thread and i’m sure that someone should answer your questions. no need for a completely new thread.

Should just post this reply into the match-up thread, feel free to post it there, I guess.
If he’s zoning you, approach the same as you would with Dhalsim, block all projectiles and then focus through limbs. Seth’s limbs all have higher recovery that Dhalsim, so this is actually easier.
If Seth gets a knockdown on you and you fear a mix-up, teleport out. Do not abuse this however, as Seth has option selects to punish teleports, I believe.
At full screen, simply absorb projectiles with focus or neutral jump clear of them. Seth’s full screen options are actually sort of bad. If you have the life lead, this is not a bad position for you to be in at all. Once you see him initiate a wall bounce, respond with EX Head Stomp if you have charge and meter, Ultra 2, or even standing roundhouse.
Bait him into mashing out a reversal on wake-up. Seth players are almost as bad as Viper players about mashing shit on wake-up. Then hit him with a standing fierce into rh scissors or cr. mk into rh scissor punish.
Last, learn your frame traps. Seth has no command specials or normals with 3 frame start-up, only his throw and command grab. Close standing jab, for example, is a free mix-up all day for you, as an example.
Pretty sure you’re just a troll, though.

I just watched some videos on youtube I only found 1 where Bison wins out of the bunch, so is this just a bad match up

Seth is one of those characters where if you don’t know what he is capable of, or if you don’t have practice against him (like Dhalsim), it can seem like a much worse match-up than it actually is. You just have to be patient and create opportunities for yourself that you can then capitalize on. I think that if you are armed with the correct mindset that the match-up is even, or maybe even favors Bison a bit.
whatever you do don’t create another thread asking a random matchup question

NICE vid…but like i said i couldnt find the thread at the time
Seth is a character that just doesn’t give a fuck. So the way you beat him is to shut him up. He’ll go in on you all day because he has probably the best overall variety of tools in the game, and he has no health to spare so he might as well do whatever he can to win (Think Dark Phoenix mashing jab and spamming fireballs and going nuts).
Make sure you anti-air him properly. It’s a bit hard, I think if he does his dive kick, a st. HK will trade at best. An ex Psycho will likely beat it when timed right. Don’t give up on Bison’s HK though, it’s amazing.
Whenever he does get on you, mix-up your escape options. If you ex Psycho your way out of everything, he’ll block and DP or Lightning Legs that shit every time. Throw in some ex Devil’s Reverses and back teleports every now and then. Also, make sure you punish him hard.
If he whiffs something, go for the most damaging combo YOU can pull off. I personally like to Lv2 FA crumple stun, cr. jab x 2, st. lk, cr. mk xx hk scissors. If you don’t feel confident, try cr. mk xx HK scissors.
