The original problem was in the wording. On one hand you have people saying lets get together blah blah blah, the next it was why not meet at SG, counter point, SG is so and so, SG people saying no its not.
You have to understand that Stargate arcade is the original reason alot of us are even here on SRK. We always have a short fuse and defensive tendencies when somebody speaks ill of the place. The owner of Stargate, Chris Wong, is one of the OG Houston SF players and has come close to shutting down SG’s doors a few times. Earl was with us when we went to B5 in Cali, and was hanging with us alot before his accident, he definitely would be one of the guys that would have called SG home.
Bottomline is this, everybody does what they wanna do. You wanna have get togethers at your place, then do that, we all used to before SG opened, and still do so when it isn’t. If you want good comp, you should play at SG. If you were having problems gettin some play or gettin skipped, you should have either spoke up, or gotten ahold of me or Chris Wong. Sorry your experience wasn’t great, but if you’re going to post up about it, you’re gonna get some counter points, thats just obvious. I understand you weren’t trying to hate, but SG holds a special place and a lot of memories for a lot of us on SRK. Its like accidently insulting somebody’s home, whether you meant it or not, you’re gonna catch some heat.
First of all, I never like this Nigga, and i personally hate when niggas be hoppin on shoryuken thinking they e-thugs talking shit to someone they aint cool with.
