I play both 3S and GG:AC (and Marvel 2, but I’m rusty as all fuck in that game), but I’ll play pretty much anything 2D. I live in Elkton, which is like 5 minutes away from DE. Would definitely be interested in hooking up with some players closeby sometime.

are you the only one from DE that goes up to Philly for SF4? when do you usually go? i’ve gone there the past 3 weeks w/ a buddy of mine. we’ve gone on fridays usually in the afternoon.
i know not everyone can make it up to philly regularly and the fact that SF4 costs $1 per play but is NO ONE in DE excited for SF4 besides me and Nas?

yea i do hit up the arcade quite frequently (on the weekends…) right now im learning C.Viper… but i think im gonna try chun and ryu as well…

aww man, the next few weekends are no good for me. i plan on going back next week during the week though.
you like viper? she’s like a misplaced SNK character. doesnt seem to match up well w/ the rest of the group but im sure her players will find a way.
ive just been using the old characters. Zangief, Guile and Claw mostly…zangief is a beast.
anyway, maybe the DE SF fans can try to coordinate to meet up there or head up together (that includes you Kage!!). i know weekends are crowded but atleast we may be able to get some good matches against each other.

i hear geif is mad stupid in 4… which imo i don’t find wrong at all… i always wondered if throw charcters would get teh top spots
i guess that’s why i kinda like C.viper… cuse she’s different… alot different from the cast… and im going to try chun (who’s not 3s chun) and abel ( cuse he punches hard:)
abel is OK to use but the throw combos i’ve seen (so far) arent that damaging. he’s like 50% SNK & 50% capcom, imo but he’s still no Clark or Goro Daimon.
actually, come to think of it…all the new characters seem to have an SNK influence. El Fuerte has moves right out of Ramon’s arsenal. Rufus looks almost like Cheng Sinzan and has a couple similar moves…but atleast he’s alot better!!
for you akuma lovers, he was available last week when i played. just push down past the bottom row of fighters and he’ll be selected. same ol, gouki…but felt a bit slower.
have you gotten the hang of the SADC/FADC yet? basically cancelling into a dash from a saving attack (MK + MP). i still cant get that quite right…i may have done it once w/ gief and combo’d into his super throw but that was from a lvl 3 crumple so it was practically a freebie anyway. not sure the usefulness for charge characters either unless you can store your charge from a SA/FA. i know there is that training mode but it’s hard to turn down the challengers there 
the focus shit … im used to like focus canceling out of it and shit… but when i actually connect… im not used to it… it’s like I GUESS ILL LET HIM FALL… AND DO NIL DAMAGE HA HA!!

Well…my PS3 died and I should be getting it back this week. I’m good to play any time then.
I was thinking that the weekend of SF4 coming out we could hold a big all night session with food and such for anyone that was interested. I’ll try and figure out details soon.
