I know this hard for men to grasp, because they tend to like being sexualized (I know I do). But try to imagine yourself being a woman, going into an environment consisting of 98 % men, wanting to be a part of that scene, only to be greeted with statements such as “Lets make a ranking of how hot the females are. Oh, and I guess they play fighting games, as well”. That’s gotta make you feel unappreciated.
And while I’m personally all for “This chick’s hot” talk (or, for that matter, “This guy is hot” talk), remember that this is public right here. You don’t have that kind of discussion in public, now do you? You don’t holler at women in the street, do you? No, you don’t. This is pub talk, in a closed round of friends.

As long as these girls played in the main tourney as well, they deserve respect from the community. (My girlfriend was pissed when she first found out about the women’s invitational as she assumed they weren’t competing in the main event which would be pathetic)
This thread is not that respect…I’m not trying to be all feminist either. I have no problem with harmless talk of objectifying pretty women that aren’t going to hear it…but these are women that are PART OF YOUR COMMUNITY.

But honestly I find all these girls incredibly attractive. Why? They share the same passion for FGs that makes then step up and play in such male-centric environment.
