My bad if this was stated already but i couldn’t find it anywhere in my search. How far is GVR from the airport, and are there shuttles back and forth to the airport or do we need to set up rides/cabs/etc. Thanks in advance.
is there a schedule of events for evo2k5 somewhere?
I got a question…
See, last year at the Shilo I got a room and shared it with about 6 other people. This worked fine cuz the actual hotel building was quite aways away from the office and one key = open door for anyone. Now, I just went to Vegas this January and was reminded of their stricter policies on rooming cuz when I stayed in the Excalibur every time I went to my room I had to flash my room key to a security guard sitting right before the elevators. Does anyone know if GVR has this same kind of set-up? Are the rooms only accessable from inside the casino or are the rooms in a separate building?
The McCarron airport (the only one in Las Vegas, NV) is roughly 11 minutes away from Green Valley Ranch (Henderson, NV) according to MapQuest.
There is a shuttle from the airport to the resort; you can find minor details here.

Many thanks phil.
Other hotels option that are near GVR and cheaper are
1.Doubletree Club - close by
2.Sunset Station
You’ll still need a car, or take the bus to get to GVR. Bus trip costs like a dollar some thing, taxi is like 20+ to get there.
There is another hotel by the 215, that is on las vegas blvd. That is sort of close by as well. I’ll get all the information up later.
SFPunker, it’s like that with near all hotel/casinos.
is it $136 per night per person?? group rate of how many people???
I think that’s the normal rate per room…Doesn’t matter how many people I think.
Most hotels have a general limit on how many people to a room like 2-4 but its a common practice for most people to cram more like 6 or so, you dont need to be a ninja about it but dont go making extra effort to make yourself known.
does anyone have the address to GVR? I looked on there site and maybe I just completely whiffed it but I didn’t see it.
Green Valley Ranch, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson, NV 89052

thank you very much
my friend posted this in another section, but i thought it might get answered faster if it was here as well. here is his post:
Hey guys, well i tried to reserve a room, i’m not 21 so i had my father do it, but he said to charge for all 3 nights that i’ll be staying, but they want to see the credit card and an ID, except he’s not coming with us. So do we need a 21 year old chaperone with us or something? or do we just charge the first night and then pay for the rest? please answer because none of us going are 21, 20 is the oldest.
you will need someone who is 21 to reserve the room. The person who reserved the room will need to be present at the time of arrival to check in the room. So you don’t have to be 21 to stay there, but you will need a 21 year old to check in/reserve the room.
damn that sucks , thanks for the info.
This may have been posted elsewhere and I haven’t seen. If so sorry about asking again. How does one commute from the airport to the hotel? Is their a shuttle… and how much is it? Is there a cab?
Read my post above.
Guys I need to know how far the MLG/Evo hotel is from the strip. The reason is that I am taking 3 other people with me who have no interest in gaming, and now they want to go w/ the Hotel that is 40 dollars cheaper and is located on the strip  .
Anywhere from 13-20 mins depending on where you are on the strip. My hotel is also on the strip and its about 16 minutes away from GVR. Here is the address to GVR “2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson, NV 89052”. Use Mapquest.com to find out how far GVR is from your hotel.
how come no one mentioned this before.
i called them yesterday to reserve rooms, they told me it’s $139 a room, but it’s +$35 per head after the initial two.
so instead of $139 it’s $139 + $70 a night for 4 people.
did anyone else get this? or is that just me?
