You gonna need to troll better if you think you’re gonna get a reaction out of me
At least get your own insults. Such unoriginality just taints the image of good trolls everywhere.

I find it odd that MK9 made the list to be honest, considering that it had less viewers than every other game at socal regionals, BlazBlue included.

Yeah,i just wanted to let it out. The game isn´t even out yet. Im sure time will prove how good it is.

I can admit that MK is probably the weakest option there. But even if MK hadn’t made it, BBCSE would have probably been next in line.
Merely articulating that I don’t think it’s particularly surprising that SkG isn’t in. And that throwing a fit, raging about how horrible the other game choices are, etc. won’t help anything.

Effort should be focused on other tournaments and the Evo side tournament ( the more people you get there the more money I get to make off y’all, so get the hype up please ).

Ignorance doesn’t suit you. MK9 has an international following and consistently has more entrants in majors than games that aren’t SF4 and UMVC3.

So it looks like we need to get a community going more than ever.

This makes the turnout numbers even worse then, considering that it sold more than MvC3 + UMvC3 and probably as much as vanilla SF4 did. The following should be much bigger.

There is no point of getting mad about spoiled milk.

All we can do now is prove to EVO that you made a mistake for not putting in Skullgirls.

But then, you have to consider that MK is a casual magnet for people who don’t even know that tournaments are a thing.

(Yes I am aware that I’m kind of all over the place in this discussion, I’m just stating observations)

On the other hand, KOF’s fanbase is growing with the console release, and more and more people are showing up at events… Good thing that game’s at EVO too.

Well SF is just as big of a casual magnet, but I agree. Though it seems there is a whole segment of the MK community who would rather the game wasn’t good enough for competitive play. Sad really.

I know yall are saying “dont be mad” but I can’t help but be mad right now. So I guess I’l just take a chill pill for now.

Good call, dude. Let me finish this stick and maybe we can play some Melty or something. Gonna be a few hours, though.

Yea I at least have to be happy for KoF. That game is amazing. But you know what? All skullgirls not being at EVO tells me is that we all better get to work at playing and promoting the game. I actually kind of look forward to showing people how to play an actual fighting game.

It’s okay to be mad, but your mad energy should be spent doing good for the sake of the game.

Yeah, let’s make this side tournament something that the FG community can’t ignore.

I’m going to evo just for Skullgirls.

i’ll most likely go to evo this year (which would also be my first one). I’m down with the side tournament.

Yeah going to Evo for the skullgirls side tournament or a new PC… I could stay with a friend that lives in Vegas so I wouldn’t have to worry about the hotel but it’s a tough choice to make either way.

Honestly though, Mr. Wizard has a point that this game needs to have a community built up for it first, so there’s no point in getting mad at the decisions, especially since this is a new IP. Despite all the naysayers, the MK community did try their hardest to push their game through and get the community to support it, and they were rewarded for it. The Skullgirls community just needs to do the same and prove that people care about this game and will play it.

Edit: I’ll be showing my support for this game by going to Final Round this year since there will be an official tournament(?)

It’s awesome how when they announced SFxT, they followed it with a list of why SFxT is so tournament-unfriendly.

Lol

Haven’t seen anything about Skullgirls at FRXV anywhere, though.
