What you did there… I see it.

While we’re on the topic of other characters, I wonder if the team already has an idea of how future (here’s hopin’) characters will work regarding mechanics/fighting style. They’ve already done an amazing job with the initial cast, it’s hard to imagine what they’ll come up with next.

I had a weird, sobering thought.

Upon seeing the fuzzy guard vid for SCV and reading one of the comments, my brain went all Pinky and the Brain on me (the episode where you finally see what Pinky is thinking).

I read a comment that said “Well the game was rushed, you know”.

My mind went:

“Of course it was rushed, they want money.”

“If they want money, they need people to want the game.”

“There is so much hype for this game they probably did rush it.”

“Now people are not going to enjoy the game because of game-breaking glitches.”

“Why don’t they just take their time to make a game?”

“But everyone is so excited to play it.”

“But everyone deserves a great, polished game.”

“Man, I think I’ll just go to the Skullgirls forum and see if they’ve announced a release date.”

“What’s taking so long?”

AND THEN IT HIT ME.

So as much as my instincts are against me on this one, I will NOT ask about the 8th character or the game’s release date. I already have the money set aside for the game since a month ago and I just have to wait and let the people who know what they’re doing do what they’re doing so that I may enjoy a fun, streamlined, engaging game with great features, so nice and polished that you can basically feel the same love that went to making the game while you’re playing the game.

So take your time. Your work will not go unnoticed.
