Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with liking Mvc3. It’s just that as a person who has played Marvel 2, Msh, and the Marvel 1 trilogy for a while, Mvc3 just comes off as not nearly as exciting or fun. Not because it wasn’t as broken or anything stupid like that, but just because the game felt slower and I thought the move sets were…to be honest like something you might see someone throw together in Mugen. It can still be fun, as it is built on the things that make fighters fun in the first place. It just doesn’t compare to its predecessors in my opinion.
Many of my friends instruct me to fear a person by the name of “Ivan Ooze” but I haven’t played the game he’s from (Power Rangers fighter I think?) so I can’t comment ha.

The series is far from perfect. But I don’t play the game really for tournament competition and such. I just play the game mostly for the fan service.
You know to hear Cap say “Avengers Assemble!” and then I get to re-enact some of those battles. Or getting to see ol’ Firebrand and Arthur back in Action after 20 years. Also it was good to see my favorite squid-thing is still hanging around (I was sure he was getting the boot) and it’s always nice to see my boy Zero in a recent game that isn’t .EXE based.
Anyway yes, I enjoy the game for the fanservice and kind of skimp on the balancing issues and sorts.I know…quite a horrible thing to do lol.
But the thing I really like about Skullgirls is that it’s going to have all that tournamenty stuff in addition to a solid story, well-developed characters, and it’s own unique charm! 
Yeah that’s cool.
Also Arthur is the best.
Considering Parasoul is a princess. I think she and Arthur would make a fine couple. As long as Parasoul didn’t mind a man a bit on the short side.

I’ll be playing mostly on the 360 but since I don’t use my PS3 as anything other than a paperweight I’m looking into using it as a Skullgirls streaming station.
Have we even seen the game running on 360, at all? I’m getting it for PS3.
I think I have to buy me new PC for SG. True story. I hope Mike will tell us required specs before steam release…
Until then I’ll try to play on my cousin’s PS3… But god damn am I bad with the pad… =/

I’m buying it for 360, PS3, and PC but I will be playing primarily on 360. I don’t even own a PS3 but my roomate does so I’m making an exception for it (since I usually won’t buy games for systems I don’t explicitly own.)

Other note, I’ll be on PC only. Sure hope they’re going to treat it equally (and not do like Capcom and have whole AddOns not release and patches come out two months later).

I’ll be buying it for PS3 which is where I’ll likely be the most and also buy it on PC to play against a few of my non-PS3 owning friends who like fighting games.
