Seriously, there is great sentimental value in a console/PC for a hardcore gamer. It’s not just an expensive item, it’s the means to a hobby (which goes back to that “girls don’t have hobbies” thing that people on SRK complain about). The closest thing would maybe be an iphone, if she’s one of those chicks who’s on her phone 24/7.

I really wouldn’t know what I would do if I had a girlfriend and she broke my shit. None of my ex’s were bat shit crazy and I never lost my temper on them. I guess the first thought would be demanding that she will pay for a brand new system and then my next thought would be to not only buy me a new system but a night of ATM followed by making me a club sandwich.
