I have the screw on crowns, they should fit with tabs or without, i think the collar on the button is big enough. The snap ins i dont think will fit.
Anyone have a rough idea what a modded all sanwa T5 would be worth? i got no reply in trading outlet. I did the MKL technique with QD for the buttons like in this post Hori T5: Modding Tutorial. The art is printed from mamemarquees on vinyl and there’s a plexi on top of that.
Its also signed by Daigo (not that that has an effect on the value)
daigo sig not on this pic
If its a ps2 or ps3 or 360 stick. Possibly 80-100. Dual modded at least 120 and higher.

trix- nice artwork on that stick. If its single system bout $80, which i think you did since you did the mkl mod. Honestly the mkl is nice and makes the wiring look super clean. But it really doesnt add to the value much. Same functionality as a soldered board with qds.
I would think $100 tops if the hardware hasnt been used much.
edit- plus its harder to sell the t5 cases to peeps due to the button layout, most srk’rs want the jap curve. But i personally prefer the american/japanese hybrid layout lol

so is the bored the same one or do i have to get a different one sorry to sound like a scrub im new at this
What board are you talking about? It’s a PS2 board.
Man, finding a Local Hardware store with a 24mm Hole saw is no joke. I have almost no luck with this. I found one, and bought it, but then it turns out that my drill only fits 3/8’ bits and this one is 1/2’. My hole saw is a hole saw+Arbor in one. -_-
Hey guys and thanks for the helpful info. I’ve been reading through this thread and I think I’m ready to try out the modding my T5 stick.
I just have on question, would mounting a Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick be any different from mounting the Sanwa JLF-TM-8T-SK Joystick?
Sorry if it’s a stupid/redundant question but I just want to be sure on this before I start on anything.
The only difference is that the TM-8T has no pcb so you’ll need .187 QDs. Still need to remove the mounting plate.
Ok, thanks for the reply! Much appreciated.

Am I understanding this correctly?
Is it 5 Up, 4 Down, 3 Left and 3 Right?
And then match them up with pins 1, 3, 5 and 7 respectfully to get Up Down Left Right?
Well if you’re referring to the directions, they are common ground. Just get the signals right and you can use whatever ground you need. Daisy chain or put them in one terminal if using a harness.

I went ahead and wired it the other day. All done. Minor flaw in my work, when drilling the holes for the JLF but I can fix it. Looks pretty good. If I remember I’ll pot some pics.
wanted to post the build I did using this thread. It took me days to find it with search lol. But here are some older pics of my T5 Hori mod. Doesnt have art or plexi on in it.

Cool. I like the thought of doing a detachable cable.
