I believe that there was a tutorial somewhere on how to get an LS-32 mounted, at the proper height, on a JLF sized mount with an MS mounting place. Although it pretty much involves shaving alot of plastic from the LS-32.

Ok, so did anyone who ordered it from Renchi.com actually get the VX SA in their possession? I am about to take the plunge.
EDIT: I just bought it. Hope they actually have it in stock. It said 1 - 5 days for shipping, so I’m crossing my fingers.
Someone needs to tell Hori that us big dumb americans prefer a start lockout switch or putting it away like the madcatz stick. I would be throwing money at this company left and right if they could somehow engineer this feature which should be common on 100$+ arcade sticks by name.
yeah i got mine…their communication isn’t the greatest, they sent me a shipping email a few days after it had been shipped and it arrived 2 days later. might have got lost in the system.
i have a problem (maybe) with the stick though, it seems to ‘lose’ sync with the xbox after i turn it off. lemme explain…so if i turn the xbox on (however, using a standard remote/front button), then plug the stick in then everything is dandy. play play play, hit the home button on the stick to turn off the console. sometimes when i do this, i can’t turn on the console using the home button on the stick anymore - i have to turn it on using something else (remote/front), then unplug and replug the stick before it will be recognised. sometimes i can turn the console on using the stick, but it sits there flashing around the home button like it isn’t synced, and then i have to unplug/replug to get it back.
am i just not getting something or is something screwy? it’s plugged into the bottom front port on the xbox, if that matters.
About how long did it take for them to ship it to you?
not very long in the end, i think they shipped it within 3 days and i had it within a week or so. but it just sat in ‘processing’ for 4 days even though i think it had shipped already.
I actually signed into my account and checked my order. It’s still “PROCESSING,” but I already have a tracking number for it via UPS. They didn’t send me an e-mail, but I guess they shipped it already.

Who knows what Hori’s thinking is with the V3 SA?
They’ve announced the much more expensive VLX stick for the US… That’s gonna have a HUGE market with the general economy… (Cue sarcasm)
As big a PS3 fan as I am, I do have budget concerns.
I don’t have a ton of games for it and am realistic about it.
The system really only took off after the price cut to $300 (and system redesign) this past fall and the release of more recent games.
Price-point and quality is something for everybody to keep in mind…
I’m honestly hoping both the VLX and V3 SA get released in the US.
I’m more on the practical side with the VLX. It really could have almost been a two-person stick for the size and price.
For the price alone (Japan-cost), it’s almost better to look for an old Astrocade two-person Sega Saturn HSS-0130 and mod that or get an adaptor for it.
I don’t understand why Hori isn’t bringing over the V3 SA. When I was in Japan a week ago, Yodobashi had a few of them in stock. Actually…they got in a big order…around 8. A week later there was only 2 left. I guess they might be having a difficult time meeting demand just in Japan for now. When I checked amazon.co.jp, they were always in stock.
I can confirm that LS-32 fits in the VX-SA without any mods. It pops right in as long as you have the S-shaped mounting bracket (standard with LS-32-01 I think). I can post pics later for the non-believers. Why do people have the notion that these sticks don’t support the LS-32? I think the V3-SA should be the same, but can’t confirm since I only have the VX-SA.
Hmm…I have a LS56-01 on order and a LS32 in my other joystick. When the LS56-01 comes in, I’ll try to see if the LS32-01 drops in the V3-SA. I think a lot of people don’t know what works because the joystick is pretty difficult to obtain outside of Japan.

The bracket looks the same as my VX-SA, so it seams both are a go for LS-32 support!

renchi ships to eu (well uk at least), that’s how i got mine. possibly not the cheapest option, but when has anything every been released ‘properly’ over here? TE aside, but then RRP for those was £150, which is more than i paid for my VX.SA (and my TE too, to be fair).
Because the initial pictures we saw months ago, did not show us how Mounting Bracket look.
All we saw was a JLF mounted.
We didn’t see the usual side mounts that let for LS-32-01 like in Mad Catz TE.
When we saw only JLF mounted, and no side mounts, we thought it would be Mounting Bracket like HRAP 3.
See how you know mount the Seimitsu top-bottom like JLF usually is?

Well, it’s been 6 days, and still no shipping confirmation. The tracking number on my Renchi order has been “Billing Information Recieved” for 5 days now. I’m hoping I actually get the stick, lol.
