If I buy this, once I take it out the box, is it already a good arcade stick? Because I really can’t pay more than what that cost at the moment, but I really need a good arcade stick. Does anyone recommend this one?
If you are talking about the HRAP or any of its variants (Not including the US Tekken 5 stick since that is NOT a HRAP), then yes it is a really good stick. It’s the best off the shelf stock stick out there really.
The one I was considering getting is the one that has green buttons and a green ball stick. Which version is that? I don’t know how to tell the version or anything, well even though, is that one good? I don’t another twin blaze stick LOL.

That’s HRAP 1.
Ok, I’ve just got my snap-ins and before I go wiring anything, I just want to make sure on one thing. There’s two wires per button right? Does it matter which way round I wire it? You know, does it matter which way the micro-switch is?
Demon Dash
No, just hook it up how you want.

You can select the cheaper shipping after you buy the item. I just got 100 of each for $8.38 shipped.
Oooooo, just what I was looking for, awesome.
Hey, I got my HRAP and I kind of want to do my own art for the face, or at least find some place where I can change the face.
I was wondering, how would I go about doing that? Like, getting the exact dimensions of the face. Or is there a source where I can get a plate that fits precisely over the face so then I can do the art more easily? I know how to take it apart and change it out, it is just I don’t know what the best way to do the art would be, or if there is a source where I can buy art to put on it.
Hey guys, I have a HRAP2, and am trying to find a converter for xbox and usb. I saw that you guys say the magic box works for HRAP1, is it the same? And what could be a usb converter?
Hey, I’m gonna buy some Sanwa buttons for my HRAP. I don’t really feel a need to change the stock stick, seeing as it’s pretty good already, but the buttons could stand a change.

I’m probably gonna order from here, but do I need 24mm or 30 mm buttons?
DreamDateDoug
You need 30mm buttons.
Yeah, magicbox worked perfectly from my HRAP2 to xbox
Why would you need to change the stock stick, when the stock is already a Sanwa. Unless you’re referring to all those Seimitsu LS-32 mods.
Anyway you’ll need the 30mm buttons, screw in or snap in, it doesn’t matter, but I can see how screw ins are more somewhat more convenient.
Play-Asia.com has HRAP 2’s in stock.
They are 99$. The catch? 50 dollars shipping.
A couple people told me it was a good price still, so I picked one up. I hope I didn’t get ripped off
Anyone know if that is a good price?
Damn looks like I bought one of the last ones. They just went on backorder today…
I guess it was a good deal cause they sold out pretty fast.
Question: I made a few american style custom sticks, but I’ve been digging the jap style for a while because they are much easier to take to someones house, so my question is, I hate 8 button jsticks, does sanwa (or somebody) make a button hole filler like happ does? This is what I am talking about.

That way I could just put my hand there and know its not the button. I think the rest of the mod would be pretty easy for me. Thanks in advance.
Or if someone could tell me where I could get a jstick with the DC agetec layout, that would be even better
Yes, there are button plugs for japanese sticks. i don’t know where to get them, but i’ve seen more than a few. some even have “Capcom” written on them.
AAAAH help! Theres something wrong with my T5 RAP. I was training in third strike today, perhaps i trained too hard. Now my stick is sometimes making this squeeky noise instead of a click. I opened my joystick but have no idea whats wrong with it. I also tried unscrewing those 4 screws on the gate but its hard as hell…:looney:
I’m a stick newb and have a couple questions.
- I am planing on selling my SFAC and U.S. T5 and buying a Jap. T5.
-How easy is it to mod the stick and buttons with Seimetsu’s. (Does you need a solder?)(Does it matter which Seimetsu’s I use or will the process be the same)
-Does the Jap T5 use quick dissconnects
-Are modding the buttons as easy as disconnecting the dissconnects ,switching the buttons and reconnecting the quick dissconects
-I read that a Seimetsu Stick has to be situated differently to fit, is this the same for the T5
- Are there any sticks the can be bought that use Seimetsu stick and buttons already (that are not the SE HRAP 2)
