With the HRAP EX-SE coming to the US, lets hope they bring this to the US as well, even if the button mapping is a bit odd…
The only times (that I am aware of) 24mm buttons have ever been produced in dark greys or black by Sanwa have been for limited edition sticks.
For example, the only Hori stick produced for a PlayStation console with 24mm dark grey/black casing buttons was the Hori HRAP 2 SA for the PS2. The ball handle and 30 mm pushbuttons on that stick are light blue. (It’s really a neat looking stick IMHO.)
I’m assuming that those Sanwa 24mm’s on the new EX-SA are probably (limited production) special edition, too, otherwise they would have shown up at LizardLick, Modchipman, or Akihabarashop, too.
The last new color Sanwa has introduced for mass production was the the OBSF-30 black buttons. Note that these are NOT the same as the grey/black casing buttons on the MadCatz TE stick. The new 30mm Sanwa black buttons have both black pushbutton faces and black casings.
Seimitsu produces totally black 24mm buttons but I’m not as big a fan of Seimitsu as I am of Sanwa. I generally like saving on wear and tear on my fingers! :looney:
