Hooking EVERYTHING up to a modern HDTV - A Guide (Update for the Framemeister coming soon!)

I asked where’d I find it. You never got back to me.

its clearly written on the plastic case and on the mother board

Serial Number: NS153271456

You’re probably rocking an 04 like me then. All I get is a faint rolling black/white image.

According to that the 04 can be modded. Also, I was confusing model number for motherboard number. I got the 04.

He did: THIS

looks like your going to need a booster

A booster? Man they weren’t lying when they said the rabbit hole went deep. Is this internal or external?

I mention that I hate you and your deep pockets. Not real hate, the envious kind.

Methinks this is what we actually need. I sent an e-mail asking for more info.

Yep. If you didnt have the modder put an amp in your n64, you will have to have it put in the cable.

Post the answer when you get it. You’re the man!

the answer is: you linked us to a simple wiring mod without an amp that was supposedly done on your n64 (ask your modder for confirmation). that cable features an amp for n64s modded in that fashion. buy that cable or get your modder to put an amp in your n64

I got a quick reply from her(?). Getting a little more clarification before I post back.

I know that. I wanted to know if THAT cable would do that job correctly. Can’t blame you for thinking I didn’t though, I haven’t exactly oozed knowledge here.

I added a RGB21 port on the side of my GBS to use the new Saturn cable that I received from ebay’s retro_console_accessories, It look much cleaner than the RGB cable made from an old Saturn S-video cable.

It would.

Thats a cool way of setting it up, but did you not hook up any sort of sync cleaning circuit in between? I gues you’re just going to try and get cables for your consoles that output that arleady?
