just came back from my lunch session and I got some news for you guys.
Right when I was about to leave central game center the manager was putting notice board on all 4 of the machines saying from dec 10-14 ssf4 will be getting an upgrade so durin those fee days ssf4 will not be available
one of the other player that just got there talked to the manager and ask further, basically he said they are sending their units back to japan today and any arcades that plans to upgrade it will be doing the exact same thing if not earlier.
So I guess this means we’ll be getting v2012 by next week
on the other hand I strongly recommend you guys probably don’t go to the kok tonight… Because they might be doing the sAme thing

Whoa thanks for the heads-up Lau. I wonder if Gamemax will be prepared sooner since they removed SF4 much earlier than the others but of course that would depend on availability in Japan. I wonder about the kok… you might be right… perhaps we should go to MK / Prince Edward backup

Hopefully never because I can sit in my room playing Skyrim, Street Fighter and TF2 all day and take a shit without first having to wipe the toilet seat thrice for fear of sitting on some guy’s pubes or pee droplets.

central don’t have anymore ssf4 they turned off the cabinets while i was leaving… and was prepared to take out the motherboard to send back to japan… my guess is the only place you guys can play SSF4 is really just Smoke City because they use an Xbox (i beleive) as their unit… any legit arcade units that’s planning on upgrading will probably be turned off… so like Cord said… maybe Gamemax has already sent theirs (that’ll be the right move to do… rather than having retarded samurai showdown)
I should get off work around 6ish… and will head over there once i’m off
adding on: in reply to what Cord asked earlier… I just remember… the manager did say actually the patch is actually available today… so… let say if Gamemax did the right thing by sending their units up… chances are they probably will only get v2012 a day or two earlier at best… because their units probalby didn’t get worked on until now… at least that’s my understanding of what the manager said… i think because SSF4 is probably one of the more profitable machines… they probably tried to hold onto it as long as possible until they must send it off…
