Hi guys I don’t know why I haven’t bother checking this thread for quite a long time to the point I forgot there’s even a match making thread… Anyways I bumped into Cord today at CWB I actually don’t play here often so it’s by chance I finally my someone from SRK… Kinda felt left out of the sf community before because I can’t exactly type Chinese and I think there’s a cultural difference for me and some of the more local players here. But anyways hopefully I can see more of you guys soon… I did read about the tournament this coming Sunday on hkfighter however don’t exactly have a team… Not sure if I’m free anyways but will probably try my best to attend the next one and might try to see if I can sneak off to watch a few games this Sunday.

Haha awhile ago I nearly gave up rose until I saw Louffy winning a major in AE and manage to make Ryan hart switch out of yun… Thought that was too impressive and made me decide to continue on with my two low tier characters lol

a 3rd rose player…APPROVED.
Louffy winning EGL was also what inspired me to stick to Rose after a long period of switching between characters. He made the Rose-Yun matchup look almost even. Damn impressive.

Do you know about Lai Chi Kok arcade? We’ve recently been going there on Friday nights, the hkfighter crowd tends to gather there.
Well my arcade going might tone down a little after tournament until the AE patch, hope the arcades get it quickly.
Hey! actually I never been to Lai Chi Kok arcade… so no idea where it is… but on top of that… Friday nights are usually a bad time for me actually most nights are usually bad time for me… simply because being partially owned by my wife who thinks I already play too much games kinda sucks… (especially when nowadays i pretty much only play during lunch time on weekdays).
Anyways… hopefully we’ll get the AE patch soon… I’m really looking forward to that. Looking forward to playing you again soon I’ll try my best to make it but honestly being tied down makes things a lot harder.

I’m going to be moving to Hong Kong soon so I might as well keep this thread handy.

I think SRK needs to restructure their regional matchmaking forum or something, half the people already on SRK don’t even know it exists.
I’m sure they know, just alot of people don’t take the time to visit. Western players don’t have a problem with finding people in their community. I know they have players in Hong Kong. I just don’t know how big it is.
Aside from that, Hong Kong is a great place and I had a blast visiting my first time a few months ago.

Nah. It was a bit hectic but I had fun. Wish I could have stayed for the whole thing but academia called. 
Looking forward to future tournaments. No more going 2 and out come AE v. 2012.
